Day two of the Prep Redzone Sunshine Classic 7-on-7 tournament brought the heat — literally and figuratively. The 18U division was stacked with talent, and the competition was as fierce as it gets. With players fighting for bragging rights, exposure, and a chance to prove themselves, every rep mattered. Some guys took the stage and made sure everyone left talking about them. Whether it was a gunslinger dropping dimes all over the field, a receiver who looked unguardable, or a defensive back who completely locked things down, day two had no shortage of standout performances. Let's break down some of the top players who made a statement.

This kid can really sling it. [player_tooltip player_id='1576824' first='Henry' last='Heuser'] threw the ball with a ton of raw power, zipping passes through tight windows with ease. His arm strength stood out from the jump, making throws that not many quarterbacks his age can. He's got a bit of a lighter frame, but there's plenty of time to add weight and build out his physical presence. Beyond the arm talent, Heuser made some impressive reads that showed he's not just a gunslinger — he's a smart, poised quarterback who can pick apart a defense. A name to keep an eye on moving forward.

Andrew Cordero was a problem for defenses throughout day two. The 6'2" receiver out of Chaminade College Prep showcased why he's one of the most exciting prospects in the 2027 class. He's got great size and a strong frame, making him a tough matchup for defenders. His long legs give him deceptive speed, allowing him to pull away and create easy separation. Once he got open, he proved to have some of the best hands in the tournament, hauling in tough catches with ease. Cordero was the go-to option for his offense, consistently making plays when his team needed them most. Whether it was stretching the field with deep routes or making clutch grabs in traffic, he delivered in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1611326' first='Elijah' last='Williams'] was a leader in every sense of the word, stepping up when it mattered most in the championship game. Even though his team came up just short, he left everything on the field. He moves with a smoothness that makes covering ground look effortless, and when it comes to defense, he plays with an edge. He's physical at the line, quick with his feet, and stays glued to his assignment, making life miserable for opposing receivers. On the offensive side, he showed off some seriously reliable hands, making tough catches look easy and proving he can be a playmaker on both sides of the ball. His performance at the Sunshine Classic only reinforced what was already obvious — he's a guy you want on your side when the game is on the line.

Dominic Hall made his presence felt on both sides of the ball throughout the tournament. He had a standout performance on day one, flashing his ability to create separation and showing off reliable hands in the passing game. Then on day two, he took things up a notch defensively, reading the flow of the offense like a veteran and consistently disrupting plays. His length is a huge asset, allowing him to cover ground quickly and make an impact in coverage. Whether he was hauling in catches or shutting things down on defense, Hall proved he's a dynamic player who can do it all.

Kory White was another defensive back who showed an incredible understanding of the game. His instincts were on full display, allowing him to anticipate plays before they happened. What really stood out, though, was his elite make-up speed — he found ways to get into plays he had no business being in, turning potential big gains into pass breakups. His ability to use his hands effectively was another major factor in his success, consistently getting between the receiver and the ball to knock it down. White's performance made it clear — he's the kind of defender offenses have to account for at all times.
