Heuser is one of the top returning passers across San Diego and had a solid showing on Saturday afternoon, flashing his arm talent and ability to throw on the run. He is extremely accurate outside the hashes and throws on schedule balls away from defenders and leads his receivers open. He is a quick processor that moves through his progressions while able to navigate the pocket and buy time with his legs and keep his eyes downfield. Heuser is a no-brainer next level kid that has been flying under the radar up to this point and is looking to be a late steal for college program.

threw the ball with a ton of raw power, zipping passes through tight windows with ease. His arm strength stood out from the jump, making throws that not many quarterbacks his age can. He’s got a bit of a lighter frame, but there’s plenty of time to add weight and build out his physical presence. Beyond the arm talent, Heuser made some impressive reads that showed he’s not just a gunslinger — he’s a smart, poised quarterback who can pick apart a defense. A name to keep an eye on moving forward.

Heuser wasn’t the biggest quarterback at the camp but had one of the best arms of the day. He threw a deep ball during one on ones that drew a big reaction from the receivers and other quarterbacks.
His accuracy down the field is strong and he made the right reads during the 7-on-7 period. His release is smooth and he can put some zip on the short throws.
