Kicker [player_tooltip player_id='1524559' first='Tripp' last='Holtzinger'] from Derby High School is a name to watch for movement up the ranking board. Since the complete of Derby's football season I have seen Tripp improving on his power as a Kicker. The weight room and growing has started to help Tripp develop more power. Last year Tripp was 1/1 on FG for the Panthers. I foresee the workload for Tripp increasing heading into his Sophomore Year.

The Kicker from McPherson High School I see as being added to the upcoming rankings. Jaxon saw action in 6 games last season going 10/10 on PAT's and 1/1 on FG's. He was most recently competing at the Kohls Underclassman Showcase in Florida against some of the top Kickers in the class of 2028. He showcased more control and power from his kicks while at the showcase. After talking with Jaxon he has been trying to improve on his kicking form to become more consistent with his mechanics, especially in the upper body with not leaving the shoulder behind the kick. I see his reps for FG's and PAT's increasing next year on Friday nights and cracking the rankings list.

The Freshman from Tonganoxie had a solid campaign after filling the shoes from the schools previous Kicker Jackson McWilliams, who was a 4 year starter for Tonganoxie. Cody who is a turned soccer player to a football Kicker saw improvement as the season went on. In the 9 games Cody played he went 35/36 on PAT's and 1/1 on FG's. It's a hard learning curve at first being a soccer player and trying to kick a Football. As the year went on he started to settle in and started seeing the differences between kicking a soccer compared to a football. This is someone who has the raw ability to develop into a skilled Kicker. His progress this offseason has been memorable and I see him potentially rising in the upcoming rankings release.

Carson is the only Long Snappers currently ranked on the 2028 list. Carson had a great past year handling the punt and FG snaps for Maize South. He showed consistent laces on FG and accurate punt snaps. Over this offseason based on videos of Carson snapping he has made minor adjustments to his snapping technique to be faster with his snap times. He is firing the ball faster and even more accurate than before. Those two combined together can be lethal for a Snapper and will make an impact in the Special Teams play of the game. Be on the lookout for him to rise on the Rankings list as a Long Snapper.

From the small town of Sterling, KS Lane Weigal is a name to watch for in the upcoming list rankings. Lane last year handled the kicking and kickoff duties. As a Freshman he was mainly a sky Kicker for Sterling. He ranked 3rd out of all Freshman last year in scoring. I think with a good offseason of training we could be hearing more about Lane. With this raw potential Lane hasn't tapped into quite I see Lane potentially cracking the 2028 Ranking List.
