Kicker Tripp Holtzinger Tripp Holtzinger 6'0" | 170 lbs | K Derby | 2028 State KS from Derby High School is a name to watch for movement up the ranking board. Since the complete of Derby’s football season I have seen Tripp improving on his power as a Kicker. The weight room and growing has started to help Tripp develop more power. Last year Tripp was 1/1 on FG for the Panthers. I foresee the workload for Tripp increasing heading into his Sophomore Year.

The Freshman from Derby High School had a heck of a day competing. He showed some grit and mental toughness by handing around with the older guys in charting and long ball competition. Tripp was the youngest Kicker there who made it to the 2nd stage of the long ball charting against the older guys. As a Freshman he was averaging 55 plus MPH of ball speed each kick which is well ahead of other Freshman who were at the camp. His ball contact is elite for his age and he showcased how he can hang with the older guys. Lookout for Tripp being more a weapon for the Derby Panthers next year as he continues to grow and get stronger in his kicking craft.
