EDEN PRAIRIE-- We are back with a Part 2 of the targets that stood out yesterday at the Minnesota Elite/Potenza Sports 7v7 scrimmage in the middle of the snowstorm at the Eden Prairie Dome.

One of my favorite 2026 running backs in attendance yesterday morning hailed from the 6A state champions, [player_tooltip player_id='1362824' first='Patrick' last='Wright'] of Maple Grove. Patrick was easy the most fluid running back we were able to watch and he especially showed that off with all of his route-running ability that was at his disposal. Patrick also possessed athleticism that I saw in the live eval that at times, came out of nowhere as an athlete that even from not watching the play, he could catch your attention quickly with it. I was also really intrigued with Patrick's catch radius as a pass-catcher at running back that seemed to flash skillset after skillset yesterday at the Eden Prairie Dome. The Crimson's future RB1 is surely next up in Maple Grove's backfield to be a next-level target.

Wehso was another 2028 quarterback from Minnesota Elite that my live eval felt he got better as the morning went on yesterday. The 5'9 175 pounder out of Irondale, showed off some natural progressions which lead to success throwing on all three levels of the field with constant success at the second and third level with his throws. Don't fret too much on the measurables for now, cause Wehso since I saw him at our Prep Redzone Next Camp last year has been one drives his mechanics better and better than a year ago and even last year, he was one of the more mechancially sound 2028 QBs we had at camp. Surely I could tell Wehso's poise has grown from a year ago too yesterday.

Ty Beck, WR, Potenza/Farmington 2027 Twitter

Ty was a a name that stood out to me at our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase this winter, and yet again was one of my favorite wide receivers in the live eval that I got to watch in Eden Prairie. Even yesterday after the second live eval on Ty in the last couple months, I still am baffled with this young man's skillset's that he is only in the 2027 class, as I don't think on either 18U team there was a wide receiver regardless of class that had better hands that Ty, and they surely came alive during clutch situations when needed. Ty also showed off the excellent change of direction as a route-runner which again, showed the great persistence I saw from his live eval not long ago at the Park Center Dome. It's tough to get constant exposure like Ty has in this short of time, so yesterday's live eval should be telling to those college coaches out there looking at the 2027 class

[player_tooltip player_id='620167' first='Jayden' last='Jones'], WR, Minnesota Elite/Mahtomedi 2026 Twitter

Get Jayden the ball in the open field and man, you will see the, sudden burst take off quickly, as he showed off yesterday morning at the Eden Prairie Dome. Jayden reports a 4.58 40 yard dash and based on the straight line speed I grasped in person, I would bet that number could add up for the 5'11 155 pound wide receiver from the Mahtomedi Zephyrs. Watching the twitchy release that Jayden showed off yesterday from the first to second level showed off a game speed that matches with what I saw yesterday on tape as if you blink you, might miss Jayden on his routes. He has the finess I saw too with getting smooth seperation for his size and is one that I will be intigiued it see how he looks on the camp trail this summer for those college coaches out there as a 2026 WR that you go outside the threshold for.

Vache Ebralidze, WR, Minnesota Elite/Coon Rapids 2027 Twitter

Another new 2027 new name that caught my attention yesterday during our live evals was Vache Ebralidze of Coon Rapids. Something I look for when I evaluate wide receivers in a 7v7 setting is seeking the ones that make splash plays with their hands out of nowhere, and Vache surely pushed that narrative with one of his touchdowns, as he showed off the catch radius, big play ability, as a 2027 wide receiver that came out of nowhere to make that reception and had me surprised on the other side of the Eden Prairie Dome that he hauled it in from the angle I had. Vache has no tape and not much on Twitter yet, so you can consider him the definition of a hidden gem that came out of nowhere as a standout yesterday.
