We wrap up our Thursday night by reporting on five 2025 targets via our 2025 South Dakota rankings that we are quite surprised they are still uncommitted. The bulk of them have offers to play at the next-level or had strong interest but yet still haven't committed from what we have been able to find.

Evan is our top available 2025 left available via our SD rankings and after getting an offer from Augustana this summer, has been quiet on the recruiting front but updated his senior tape last month, so my educated guess is the want for playing college football in still there. The 6'3 195 pounder from Hamlin, has an outstanding catch radius and almost immediately that and his athleticsm pops out on his senior tape. Evan has the long striding ability to get to the ball quickly as I like the projection at linebacker at the next-level as there is a balance that is shown between the pass and shutting down the run quickly, which Evan does. He also shows off as a hard-hitter in the box as a constant knockback tackler on tape. He could be a STEAL yet at the Division II or NAIA levels.

[player_tooltip player_id='351518' first='Gunnar' last='Swift'], LB, Brandon Valley Twitter

Gaunnar is a 2025 linebacker out of Brandon Valley that I had a high grade on from the getco in our 2025 SD rankings, but currently it's unknown on why he hasn't gotten more next-level attention. The 6'2 215 pounder from powerhouse Brandon Valley, reports a 9'2 broad jump, 36.2 inch vertical, and 4.49 pro agility and is a powerlifter as well for the Lynx as if I was a college recruiter all those boxes catch what I am looking for at the next-level. He also has three-position flexiblity and shows off the pass coverage reps I would want in my college LB room. He also has with every tape I have seen from Gunnar, one that presses downhill quickly as a run stopper and too possesses the twitchy read steps that process downhill quickly as a pass-rusher. Hopefully more attention finds this young man a home at the next-level, as I am very surprised a D2 school hasn't locked in on this kid.

[player_tooltip player_id='399787' first='Parker' last='Denne'], RB, Mitchell Twitter

Parker is one of our top running backs left in the 2025 South Dakota and one I made a prediction on pre National Signing Day on where he might end up, however it still looks like his options are open with three NAIA offers and a NSIC offer. The first team All-State running back in 11AA, easily possesses the next-level speed, change of direction, and vision you will want on your roster as you can tell he has a view pre-snap to process getting upfield with intent. There also is great finish from Parker when he breaks free in the open field to find the end zone. He is versatile too in his skillsets, showing off the pure athleticsm as a pass-catcher as I too in a live eval have seen this from Parker at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase. You can't forgot to mention how dynamic he is in the return game too for the Kernels as one I would love to find out soon where he ends up at the next-level.

[player_tooltip player_id='782755' first='Isaac' last='Ostrem'], LB, Harrisburg Twitter

Isaac is another NSIC target that since summer, it's been hard to gauge what his next-level aspirations are but I can tell you this young man looked great in the live eval I got at the USF prospect camp last summer. As a hybrid LB that got some reps at defensive end for Harrisburg, Isaac shows off great strength in his hands with his get off and pursuit angles to surely be a next-level linebacker. The live eval too, showed off a well-versed motor that our PRZ scouts could tell at camp plays with some lively longevity. Isaac also shows off the balance I like my linebackers to have with their skillsets with the pass and run and is one I hope to see soon where he ends up.

[player_tooltip player_id='1003956' first='Carson' last='Stoeser'], DB, Pierre T.F. Riggs Twitter

Carson was previously one of the earlier 2025 SD rankings our DB1 in this class, but hasn't reported any offers and not much interest since September which is a surprise. He is one that also could be a track athlete at the next-level as he has put up some impressive track times with the Govs in the 100 meter, 400 meter, and 200 meter. Carson's tape impressed me early with his positioning in 1v1 pass coverage with solid skillsets being shown off as a ball-tracker. The 6'1 165 pounder also has intriguing length at the cornerback position, so I will be curious to see soon if Carson is a after NSD commit anyhwere as he surely has a next-level grade.
