I watched him twice in person when he just played O-Line, and he was pretty good. Had the mentality, was physical, decent footwork, but size would have limited him. Now, seems like he's bulked up quite a bit and worked to be a DT. This massive and relatively quick shift has fueled his big rankings rise. Built very well. Strong, good anchor, above-average run stopper. Looks big, has great anchor, and should develop into a really good college defensive tackle. Good first step, lays into his opponent, and drives through the block. Really everything you could ask. One MAJOR question mark is his receiving game.<br>Defensively, Charlie is a physical, fearless linebacker. On-par with others with D1 offers. Great first step out of his pull and does a great job of hitting a defender in stride and navigating him away from the ballcarrier. Where Eli fails is pass blocking. I've seen Deonte before. I know he's a very talented athlete. Easily has a D2 floor.
