Any time a sophomore can crack the rotation at Rockford, it automatically puts me on notice. After checking Ryan's tape, it looks like he did exactly that, and really maximized his reps. Overall, I see a physical off ball linebacker with a nose for the ball.

Multiple times in his film, I see Ryan scrape and fight through blocks on the way to the play. He has no problem initiating contact and knocking the blocker off balance and continue on. I love that he has the aggression and physicality to stop that inside run, and also has a few decent pass reps as well, though downhill is definitely his best ability. I will be excited to see his role expand and grow within the Ram defense.

Carter is another physical presence inside on defense. I really liked seeing Carter's highlights from 2024 and am feeling really good about his trajectory and ceiling. Diving into the tape showed me a heads up player with clear football IQ and superb physicality, accented by his highlights on offense as a RB/FB.

Multiple times throughout his film, I found myself impressed with his reaction and play recognition. He stays extremely disciplined, and gets right to his spot as soon as he makes his read. His play recognition tells me he watches a good amount of film, and also has great feel for the game when he's on the field, what the offense is trying to do or what their tendencies are. I think with a nice camp season, he will plant himself firmly on a lot of colleges radars who may be overlooking him right now.

I was pleasantly surprised to see just how versatile Steele is after watching his film. This season it seemed like whether he was lining up on ball or off ball, he was a difference maker. I really liked what I saw from him as a pass rusher and I also was impressed by the ease in which he was able to drop back into pass coverage.

When lining up on ball, Steele served as an edge rush kind of player, able to fire off at the snap and get into the backfield to cause havoc. He beats any tackle trying to pass set him with solid bend and quickness. There were also multiple highlights where he sheds multiple blocks and keeps up his pursuit and ends up making the play. There is plenty to like about his potential and plenty of optimism about what he can do at the varsity level in 2025.

Logan would be classified as undersized as he currently stands, but make no mistake about it- he can play. Logan plays with a ton of urgency and explosion and can get down the line and take good pursuit angles to make the play.

Some of the highlights Logan has posted currently show off his reaction time and play recognition. He flies to his spot and plays with plenty of aggression. Despite being a bit undersized, he has a lot of impressive hits where he stands up running backs, some of which have size on him. I think with continued evolvement physically, Logan could end up being a really nice piece for this Franklin defense next season.

Aloumir is a really solid LB/EDGE combo with an incredibly high ceiling. His game can really be defined by his physicality, high motor and pursuit. There's a good chance he ends up as a huge part of the defense next season at Harper Woods.

I really trust the Harper Woods coaching staff to develop Ferrer into a big time pass rusher. He has the fire off, the motor and a decent set of moves to lean on. He currently sits at #3 in our LB rankings and has the ceiling to keep climbing!
