He also made an impact on special teams by running downfield and making tackles in the open field. Diggs also had limited reps as a wide receiver and showed a good ability to catch the ball in space. He does a great job of getting his hands on the ball by tipping the ball and intercepting passes thrown in his area. Even though he is smaller, he packs a big bunch, and he tackles well in the open field. He also has good coverage skills and understands how to cover receivers.
