Slagle broke out as a sophomore last season and emerged as the No. 1 OL in this Iowa Class at Prep Redzone. Iowa State offered him a scholarship on Jan. 31 and more opportunities should be coming his way in short order. He'll impress on the camp and combine circuit as a big, athletic prospect with a high ceiling. As you can witness while watching his 10th-grade highlights, Slagle casts an opposing shadow at left tackle. He adds athleticism, agility and physicality, rolling it all together into a dominating force. He easily reaches blocks while pulling, mauls people in close quarters, and shows strong hands and smooth feet in pass protection.

I saw Hagan perform during the state semifinals at the UNI-Dome in November. As a part of a young offensive line with freshmen tackles, Hagan sured up the middle while only being a 10th-grader. Lining up at left guard inside of [player_tooltip player_id='1583613' first='Carter' last='Barrett'], Hagan helped form one of the state's top 1-2 punches on that side. He is explosive and physical at the point of attack. Hagan often overwhelms the opponents that can't match his power and punch. He understands leverage and using it to his advantage.

Brenneman took a big step forward as a sophomore in 2024. The tall, angular lineman showed potential to compete at a high level. Wisconsin invited him to one of this summer camps last week after he was invited to Kansas State last summer. Brenneman flashes upside on both sides of the ball. His future could come down to how his skills and body develop from here. As a left tackle, he's a strong, athletic presence effective in small areas or in space. He benefits from explosion off the snap, which is also the case on the defensive front. He's another player boasting a sizable ceiling.

White lined up at left tackle for a team that won its fourth Class 5A state title in a row. He was just a sophomore. That should tell you a lot. When you pop in his 10th-grade highlights, the all-district performer impresses with his fundamentals and balance. Scouting him live twice this past season, White stood out as advanced for his age, technically and physically. As such, he works well on the outside at this level. However, when you watch him, you could see him excelling with a move inside, depending on how he develops moving forward.

View Buthe as a piece of clay capable of being molded into a special talent on the gridiron. We'll see during the next few years how that comes together, but chances are excellent that plenty of colleges will be interested in the finished product. When viewing Buthe's sophomore film, one can be conflicted about where he'll end up positionally. He's an agile, athletic and physical offensive lineman with a nasty streak. On defense, the upside at end is significant. He's disciplined in setting the edge and explodes off of it when in attack mode.

Another versatile athlete with potential on both sides of the ball, Hogan could wind up blocking or tackling at the next level. One thing is for sure, the first-team all-district selection moved people out of the way as a 10th-grader in '24. Hogan stands out during his sophomore highlight film for his feel for the game. On offense, he understands assignments and is talented enough to carry them out. He lined up at guard and tackle, illustrating his versatility. His future likely would be inside at the next level. Hogan didn't get much run on defense last season, but his skill set and traits work on that front.
