2027 Rankings Update- Lockdown DBs Added to Our List

Bailey is a rangy safety capable of making plays all over the field- he is highly athletic, plays with great speed, and is excellent at providing coverage over the top of the field. Bailey is excellent at reading opposing quarterbacks' eyes- he baits them into bad decisions constantly, coming away with some impressive interceptions and pass breakups. Bailey is highly instinctual and is excellent at reading and reacting to plays- he always finds himself in a great position to make plays, whether it be deep downfield in coverage or against the run. It's incredibly impressive watching Bailey's recovery speed/pursuit skills- he plays with tremendous effort and does everything he can to prevent the opposing offense from moving the ball. Bailey came up huge for Oak Mountain's defense last fall- ending the year with 28 total tackles (16 solo) and two interceptions. Bailey has been picking up a ton of collegiate interest since the season ended, listing offers from Arkansas, Mizzou, UT Martin, and plenty of others. Bramlett is a dominant coverage corner who thrives in both man and zone, shutting down talented WRs all over the field. Bramlett is physical and excellent at breaking up passes- he isn't easily beaten, flies to the ball, and is great at using his hands to jar the ball free. Bramlett is also extremely reliable at tackling, he plays with unbelievable pursuit and does a great job wrapping up- on tape he makes some incredible plays, tracking and hunting down the ball carrier from the other side of the field. Bramlett has been dominant all over the field for Central Tuscaloosa, coming up with some huge stops all season long. Ivy is really well-rounded and can make huge plays against the run and pass with how athletic he is- he has terrific speed, can cover tons of ground, and is a physical playmaker who can shut down WRs all over the field. Against the pass, Ivy is extremely reliable and provides great coverage over the top, consistently shutting down deep-threat WRs by breaking up and picking off passes. Ivy is also incredible in run support- he does a great job tracking down the ball carrier and flies downfield to come up with huge stops. It's really impressive watching Ivy tackle- he does a great job wrapping up but can also deal out some massive hits. It was easy to see these skills all of last fall- Ivy ended his sophomore campaign with 14 total tackles, 3 PBUs, and 3 interceptions. At 6'1 180, McCollum has great size and is a tough corner to throw against. McCollum is excellent at reading and reacting to plays and it shows up constantly on tape. He isn't easily beaten in coverage and is a threat to pick off/break up passes at all times, and as a run defender, he consistently puts himself in great position to take down the ball carrier. McCollum is extremely physical as well- he jams WRs up at the line of scrimmage, can easily fight off blocks, and is an excellent tackler who can deliver devastating hits to the ball carrier. Something that really jumped off the tape was McCollum's speed and pursuit- he plays with unbelievable effort and will do everything he can to impact the ball carrier every snap. It was extremely impressive watching McCollum's tape- he has been terrific for Jasper and is coming off his best season yet.
