The Star's sophomore QB also rushed for 442 yards and five touchdowns, showing his dual-threat abilities. Bosshamer and the Stars finished with a 9-3 record and made it to the quarterfinals of the playoffs, losing to the eventual C2 champions.

Right behind Jacob is Omaha Westside's [player_tooltip player_id='487734' first='Braylen' last='Warren'], who was second in passing yards but first in passing touchdowns. Braylen ended his sophomore campaign with 2,105 yards, 30 passing touchdowns, a 122 QBR, and completed 67% of his passes. Although Braylen wasn't asked to do it much, he still showed upside as a runner with 175 yards and two rushing touchdowns. Warren is a player who is set to have a big offseason as he continues to show why the Iowa State Cyclones were so quick to make an offer last offseason. In his first season as the starting QB, Braylen guided the Warriors to a 12-1 record and a state runner-up finish.

Roncalli Catholic's [player_tooltip player_id='1588219' first='Brady' last='McGill'] was the third of three QBs to throw for over 2,000 passing yards. Brady completed 55% of his passes for 2,052 yards and 16 touchdowns with a QBR of 84. McGill also added 121 rushing yards and five touchdowns as a runner. Brady was a first-time starter, taking over another [player_tooltip player_id='1588219' first='Brady' last='McGill'], and was able to lead the Crimson Pride to the playoffs despite a very difficult schedule.

Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1075673' first='Chase' last='Grow'] had a breakout season, leading the Griffins to their first playoff appearance in school history. Grow threw for 1,830 yards and 21 touchdowns with a 59% completion rate and a QBR of 110. Like the other players mentioned, Chase also took advantage of his carries on the ground with 283 yards and four touchdowns.
