<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1600876' first='Braddock' last='Beaty'], Hobbs</strong>: The younger brother of graduating senior Hobbs QB [player_tooltip player_id='1119255' first='Brock' last='Beaty'] finished as Hobbs' second leading receiver with 30 receptions for 506 yards and 8 TD. He'll have a new QB throwing him the ball in 2025.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1600835' first='Nathanael' last='Best'], Alamogordo</strong>: Emerged this season, his first as Alamogordo's signal caller, as one of the most dynamic dual threat QBs in the state. Dynamic runner as seen by his 1,146 rushing yards and 8 TD. Named Offensive Newcomer of the Year in District 6A-3. Potential to join the prestigious 1,000-1,000 club in 2025. </p>

<p><strong>Corbin Hill, Valencia</strong>: Class 4A Honorable Mention All-State center. Helped pave the way for Valencia's highly productive ground attack in 2024.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1594142' first='Jhett' last='Kinghorn'], La Cueva</strong>: With so many stars on La Cueva's defense, it was easy to forget about Kinghorn. He earned Class 6A Honorable Mention All-State honors after enjoying a solid season at safety for the Bears. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1599859' first='Troy' last='Logan'], Cleveland</strong>: Logan earned Class 6A Second-Team All-State honors as an Inside Linebacker after proving he could wreak havoc in opposing backfields. Out of his 53 tackles, 8.0 produced negative yardage and he had 5 sacks and 2 QB hurries. Potential to become one of the top LBs in Class 6A next season. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1600116' first='Dyson' last='Lord'], Eunice</strong>: Eunice had one of the most prolific passing attacks in the state this past season with more than 3,300 yards through the air. The Cardinals had FOUR receivers with 40+ receptions. One of them was Lord, who had 40 catches for 838 yards and 11 TD. He earned Class 2A Honorable Mention All-State honors. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1599919' first='Roman' last='Quintana'], Taos</strong>: The Tigers had a better season (7-4) than most people expected as they received a first round bye (#3 seed) and reached the Class 4A quarterfinals. Quintana was a major reason for that as he was a key figure in Taos' balanced offensive attack. He caught 30 passes for 333 yards and 1 TD an intermediate range receiver. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1600795' first='Salid' last='Rashid'], Miyamura</strong>: Rashid quietly had a solid season as the Patriots' QB by throwing for close to 1,900 yards and 20 TD. He led Miyamura to the Class 5A playoffs.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1599565' first='Frank' last='Sheppard'], Los Alamos</strong>: Only four players in the entire state amassed 150+ tackles in 2024. Sheppard was one of them. He led the Hilltoppers with 152 tackles and 5.0 TFL in 12 games. Earned Class 5A Second-Team All-State honors. Four of the Hilltoppers' top 6 tacklers return in 2025.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1343408' first='Bennett' last='Wahlen'], Texico</strong>: Texico had plenty of heroes on their way to a perfect 12-0 season and a second consecutive Class 2A title. Wahlen was one of them as he displayed superb dual threat skills, throwing for nearly 900 yards and rushing for close to 500, accounting for 17 TD. Texico won 6 games by the mercy rule, so he didn't get an opportunity to play a full game in half of the Wolverines games. </p>
