The Lemmon-McIntosh Cowboys have an intriguing 2028 class that I was impressed with how much tape was available, as their 2028 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1601562' first='Max' last='Anderson'] that although undersized at the moment, the upside is there. Max shows off some raw touch on intermediate routes but it sells me with the ideal precison despite constantly getting pressured which makes me think this young man's footwork and release is more polished due to that heavy pressure. In fact, once you get to just under the 50 second mark on tape, you see Max's balance come more full circle. Our QB5 right now, and one that will get a TON of reps to improve between now and his senior season,

Noah comes in as our QB4 in this 2028 inaugural class in South Dakota as the gunslinger hails from the newest hotbed in the state, Rapid City St. Thomas More. He shows off good & growing touch throwing ability and one that I feel if you watch the tape now vs a couple years from now he grows his stock when it comes to his arm strength even more. Taking some air off his touch throws will also help his growth in my eyes and mechanically making his release more fluid will too. Noah surely has the upside with his skillsets to grow his rank upwards with development this off-season and beyond as one of the most intriguing 2028 quarterbacks Rapid City has to offer.

Ethan's tape might be hard to find, but once we found it we liked what we saw out of the 6'2 160 pounder out Sioux Falls Lincoln. He shows off sound mobility getting out of the pocket and showing off constantly balanced arm strength makes it easy to tell the poise inside the pocket is only going to keep growing and you can just tell the QB to WR chemistry with Ethan is pure from my eyes on tape especially over the middle of the field. He not only has hit his growth spurt recently growing a more ideal quarterback frame for the future, but Ethan is one that seems like his growth from his 8th grade year to out of his freshmen year, the ceiling has surely risen significantly.

I stuck to my live eval from last Spring by stating that [player_tooltip player_id='1555919' first='Javi' last='Vazquez'] of Sioux Falls Washington as an 8th grader would be one of the best 2028 quarterbacks in this South Dakota class. The now 6'3 195 pounder you can gauge from the first look that has a glowing football IQ based on how smooth he progresses thru his reads. He shows off great fluid arm strength, accuracy and excellent precision on all three levels of the football field. Javi is also one the most poised pocket passers this 2028 class has to offer thus far as he never seems phased by incoming pressure and plays with great balance. Javi has a great shot to be this classes top quarterbacks in my eyes by his senior season if not before.

QB1: [player_tooltip player_id='1601731' first='Mitch' last='Grant'], QB, Tea Area Twitter

The toughest decision we had amongst South Dakota 2028 quarterbacks surely came between QB2 and QB1 and in the end, it was Tea Area's Mtich Grant taking the QB1 spot in the inaugural 2028 class. His ability to fit his ball in constant tight windows on intermediate and deep routes was a difference maker as the ball fits he shows at the top of his tape, you see a lot of upperclassment struggle with and Mitch makes them as just a freshman. Mitch also shows off his athletic movement he can make with his throws buying time out of the pocket as one that still brings all the poise you want in your QB1 outside of the pocket along with great throwing mechanics that are shown off. The 6'1 175 pounder from the Titans, is one the most intriguing freshmen quarterbacks we have seen in the Prep Redzone Dakotas era dating back to 2020.
