With much of the event's groundwork already laid, it is time to discuss who-I-saw-do-what while at the Northeast Middle School Camp. Below are personal scouting notes from the action I witnessed.

It is easy to shine on the football field when you are, simply, a natural athlete. This is the case for [player_tooltip player_id='1516099' first='Xander' last='Pelzer']. Pelzer stood out to me due to his natural, athletic prowess. Pelzer covers a lot of ground quickly and got to spots rapidly. I would encourage Pelzer to continue to work on breaking down and leveraging the sideline more when zeroing in on his target... Keeping up with the prospects whose first names' begin with the letter X, [player_tooltip player_id='1529260' first='Xavier' last='Weems'] was another linebacker who did some positive things. Like Pelzer before him, Weems got to his spots very quickly. Weems also did a very nice job attacking ball carriers' hips due to the fact that he keyed their hip with laser-focus. Weems can stand to continue to strengthen his hip flexors a bit.

Sometimes these things write themselves. Speaking of hips, [player_tooltip player_id='1429267' first='Mason' last='Corbato']'s hips were very fluid. They moved without issue and were able to rotate. As his hip flexors improve, so will the speed in which Corbato can flip them. I also thought Corbato did a very nice job coming to balance... Closing out is [player_tooltip player_id='1402541' first='Jesse' last='Gougeon']. Gougeon showed that he was proficient at getting in-and-out of his breaks, alternating between heading both upfield and down hill well. This caused him to get to his drops with ease to play either run-first or pass-first, pending situation. As his ability to move his feet improve, he will beat plenty of offenders to their spot.
