QB Factory QB & WR Eval Night: WR Prospects Spotlight

Very fluid and smooth in his running and movement, he plays with burst of the LOS and can run the full route tree. He is rapid in &amp; out of his breaks, able to drop his hips and snap off his route with quick feet. Track athlete as well, he has strong top end speed he can accelerate up to quickly. As a pass catcher, Xavier shows strong hands, able to snatch the ball out of his hands and go up and make the difficult catch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Going forward into next season, I expect Xavier to expand on his game and production. I see him continuing to work the slot, as well as being able to play on the outside and use his speed to be a vertical threat. He has a good frame with good build and length that should come along to be a strength of his as he gets stronger. He can play inside or out wide and is a strong route runner.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Able to create separation from the DB and his own space to get open for the pass. Brayden displays quick feet, making small cuts and start-stop moves to get said separation and make his breaks and stem his routes. He also shows nice burst and explosiveness off the snap and out of his cuts, he can accelerate by defenders deceptively, in that the defender may think he is on his hip or have in covered and then a split second later Brayden has gotten away and found space to get open. Pross is also a natural pass catcher. He shows soft hands, making the reception away from his body, securing the ball and able to catch it in stride. What you don't see from Brayden often is drop passes. He tracks the ball, displays good body control to get in position for the pass and can make tough difficult catches. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brayden should have a strong spring/summer going into his senior season. Muscled up and should continue to fill out, while also having nice length/wingspan. Overall what stood out the most at the event is Aaron's athleticism. Track kid as well who does LJ, Triple Jump, hurdles, etc. so you can see how that all would translate over to being a receiver. He is smooth and fluid in how he runs and in his stride. Aaron displays strong hands, catching the ball away from his body and being able to snag it out of the air. A physical player, he shows well as a DB on film as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While Aaron may not have had the biggest numbers last season stats wise, he is an athletic prospect that shows a good all around skill set. Charlies passes the eye ball test as a sophomore no doubt. A powerful runner, he eats up grass with his stride and can stick his foot in the ground to stem his routes and make cuts. He has good speed and burst as well, can stretch the field vertically and track the ball for the big catch. Charlie showed strong hands at the event, being able to pluck the ball out the air. His frame, strength and ability to put his body in-between the DB and the pass makes its very difficult for the defense to break up passes / get to the ball. Alt plays S/LB int he defensive side as well and could see him continuing to make an impact on that side of the ball as well in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A 2027 prospect that is poised to blow up and become big time recruit in the area. A kid I've seen a few times this year, and he is improving and developing each time.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A well slapped together kid, Corley is muscled up, long armed athletic kid. A dual sport kid as well, he is a middie for Episcopal's lacrosse team. That shows in his quick feet, shiftiness in his hips and suddenness when he runs. Thaddeus has great start-stop ability, able to change up his speeds, and create his own space. He shows good overall speed and explosiveness. Able to play out wide as a vertical deep threat, or in slot coming across the middle on crossers or taking WR screens. Another trait I notice about Corley, is his length and athleticism creates a big catch radius for himself. He is able to climb the ladder to get the ball in the air over the DBs, as well as nab balls out the the air away from his body while still staying in stride.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>His athleticism and skill set has already been noticed as he holds an offer from UPenn that he picked up last summer at their camp. With fluid hips and good body control during route running, Aidan can uses subtle movements to create separation from the DB. He tracks and sees the ball, able to find it and go get it. A versatile WR, he shows the ability to be effective across all three passing levels. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Overall, Aidan is developing into a playmaker and a multi-threat WR and I expect him to have a big junior year.
