Out of the large group of quarterbacks we had on hand last Saturday, Jenne might have been the top underclassmen at his position. Sporting great size and the look of a college guy, the Seahawks signal caller had a strong showing at the Winter Showcase, displaying why he is a name to watch moving forward. Jenne is a good athlete at the quarterback position with a big arm that has vastly improved. I'm expecting a breakthrough off-season and Fall football year ahead for this Chattanooga area gunslinger.

A hidden gem might have been found in this West Tennessee quarterback. Performing out of Gibson County, Sims made a strong impression at the #PRZTN Winter Showcase where he showed off a strong right arm and precision passing. The Pioneers rising junior has good size too and a body that can pack on more weight. He still has a ways to go before he reaches his maximum capabilities but I liked what I saw from Sims and his potential upside for the college game.

Phelps came into the camp as an unknown but left as a player to watch over the coming off-season months. The Bears rising senior had himself a solid day at the #PRZTN combine where he ran one of the fastest times among the running backs while also displaying the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Phelps, while undersized, does have a physically well built body and frame that could work on the next level. It will be interesting to see how he develops over the off-season months and into the Fall football year.

This Murfreesboro area athlete has been a regular at our #PRZTN Showcases over the years with last weekend possibly being his best performance yet. Competing at receiver, Dixon had one of the fastest 40 times of all participants at our Winter Showcase but also tested overall very well. His quickness and ability to separate from his defender was what impressed me the most. Dixon is a natural athlete that can play both ways but his work at receiver last weekend definitely enhanced his stock for offense.

Coming off a highly productive junior season, Farmer came up to Mid-TN to impress and that he did with his quick route running and ability to separate from his defender. The Warriors playmaker is slight in weight but makes up for it with a highly competitive nature and the open field speed to be a game changing pass catcher. On several occasions at the #PRZTN Winter Showcase, Farmer made some highlight style catches but it was his run after catch abilities that stood out the most. If Farmer can pack on more weight while enhancing his skill set, I can see some FCS schools become interested.

This guy could be one to watch over the next three years! Smith was an impressive looking wideout last Saturday and he's only a sophomore. Sporting good size and a physically well built frame, the Eagles pass catcher had one of the better testing days of all receivers but also did strong work in 1 on 1 competition where his speed and mature route running shined. Seeing this guy perform for the first left a lasting impression on me. I like the potential here and Smith's upside to one day reach the college ranks.

Taking reps at center and guard throughout our Winter Showcase, Stinnett did solid work versus some top level D-linemen and he handled himself just fine. The Rebels interior O-lineman did well for himself, starting during testing then proceeded to throw in some good reps in 1 on 1 competition. Stinnett is a strong, powerful young man that anchors well in pass protection. He can be even better in this area with added weight and continued development with his lower base agility. This is a solid prospect from the Rebels that could be in-store for a breakout 2025 year.

The Winter Showcase was a learning experience for Hale as he had some struggles at times but overall still showed why he could be a Top 10 O-lineman for the #TN2027 class. The Cougars rising junior certainly looks the part, sporting the size needed to contend on the big stage of college ball but also showed athletic flashes that translate well to the next level as well. His work at the Showcase showed that he needs to continue working on his lateral quickness as well as his balance. If he can develop those two areas, you're looking at a potential college tackle in the making.

Last Saturday was an up and down day for Romero but overall, this Mid-TN lineman showed me enough to say that he has the potential to become a college guy somewhere down the road. Romero spent most of his day working on the O-line and that's where a lot of his struggles showed up. He had some issues dealing with advanced pass rushing but was a quick learner and got better as the day went on. The Pats rising junior is an athletic guy that just needs more time and continued development honing his craft and I believe he will be just fine.

One of the more surprising prospects that caught my eye at the Winter Showcase was this Mid-TN D-lineman, who put together a strong testing day while displaying good work at rushing the backfield. The Patriots junior-to-be competed alongside a strong defensive line group but handled himself well by showing some of the best interior D-line pass rushing of camp. Mahoney had one of the best 40 times from the D-line and some mature rush moves that showed potential for the college game. He is a bit undersized but Mahoney makes up for it with effort and lower base quickness.

The Lions have a future leader on defense here with Shannon. This rising junior had a sneaky good Winter Showcase last weekend where he displayed good athleticism, instincts and the ability to take directions and excel. He began the day with some solid testing but really amped things up when we reached positional work. Shannon tracked the ball during several drills while showing good lower base explosion and mobility. He is a bit undersized at 5'10 but Shannon makes up for it with football knowledge and effort. Expect to hear more and more about this Mid-TN linebacker over the next two years.
