PRZ Orlando: Great Turnout & Support

ORLANDO – A week after the Prep Redzone Stock Up Combine Orlando event was postponed because of inclement weather in central Florida, over 100 athletes, coaches and families ran it back again on Sunday.

With the Chamber of Commerce dialing in amazing weather, Orlando Boone High School and head coach Andy Johnson – for the second straight year - provided the forum for some of the most talented football players in the state of Florida.

Competition was the order of the day as college coaches and camp coordinator Jon Chhay gave athletes an opportunity to do their thing, and by the end of the event, seven MVPs were chosen and several athletes put their name on the recruiting map.

From south Florida, the west coast, north Florida and central Florida, it was all about getting better.

Keep in mind, the state of Florida is like no other in the nation when it comes to athletes and the events they attend. On any given day, Sunday included, there are dozens of other football-oriented options, from camps and combines to 7-on-7 showcases to attend. That's what made Sunday so impressive that the quality of talent made it a priority to come out and compete.

Perhaps the most impressive thing that happened was the media coverage that joined Drew Johnson and Dan LaForest in making sure that the Prep Redzone brand was front and center.

Finally, thank you to the college coaches and the parents who supported these young men for three hours.

In closing, remember that Prep Redzone Florida is ALL about the student/athletes, year-round and throughout their entire career. By attending an event, you are a part of this family until the day you graduate.
