He is a big and physical athlete that moves well for his size, runs hard behind his pads and plays well beyond his age. He was a do it all player for the Dragons this fall and showed he can make explosive runs inside while able to run through contact with forward lean and leg drive and is a natural pass catcher out of the backfield that no doubt passes the eye test, especially for a freshman. He is a explosive runner with good twitch, start/stop abilities and shows he can make defenders miss in the hole while running extremely hard for his age and seemingly not afraid of contact in the hole. He put up some good numbers for a first year varsity player, rushing for 410 and 3 scores while adding another 180+ receiving with one score for the state champions. He is a well balanced back that runs hard in-between the tackles, shows contact balance and flashes some sneaky speed in the clear while able to catch the ball out of the backfield as well. He shows start/stop abilities in tight windows and can cutback while staying patient behind his blocks and does a good job at running behind his pads and through contact.
