Last year, we were down in the Houston area for our first event and this year, we've moved north to the Dallas area. The tournament runs from Saturday to Sunday with 18U and 12U being played at Frisco Memorial High School and 15U and 14U being played at Frisco Wakeland High School. Keep it locked into Prep Redzone online and on social media for updates during and after the tournament.

2026 cornerback [player_tooltip player_id='977539' first='Brock' last='King'] is coming up from southeastern Texas to play with Fast Houston this weekend. King is a 2026 defensive back prospect that is quickly gaining attention not only across the region but he's picking up momentum across the country. King's offer list is continuing to grow and some of the notable programs include Oregon and Texas. The Longhorns are pursuing King in a major way, trying to keep him in state. Taking a look at some film before the weekend rolls around, King is a strong corner that knows how to use his hands and routinely puts wide receivers off their routes and is incredibly disruptive. Looking at some of the playmakers that Fast Houston has slated to come, they could end up being one of the more talented teams in the tourney field.

[player_tooltip player_id='402331' first='Elbert' last='Hill'] - 2026 Cornerback
(Playing With Fast Houston)

If we're talking about the top overall prospects coming to Frisco this weekend, the conversation probably needs to start with 2026 cornerback [player_tooltip player_id='402331' first='Elbert' last='Hill'] out of Ohio. He's widely considered to be the best overall prospect from Ohio and also the best defensive back prospect in the nation for the 2026 class. His offer list is too long to name as all of the major players are going after Hill and trying to land the lockdown corner from Akron. Reigning national champion Ohio State is considered the favorite but Hill also recently took a visit to USC and has had head coaches from all over the country flying into Ohio trying to get some face time with him. Hill will be playing this weekend with Fast Houston and as we mentioned earlier with King, this roster is loaded with talent and will be fun to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1345289' first='Jordan' last='Deck'] - 2026 Safety
(Playing With 940 Elite)

Moving back in the secondary to the safety position with 2026 safety [player_tooltip player_id='1345289' first='Jordan' last='Deck'] out of Frisco Lone Star. Deck will be playing with 940 Elite this weekend and he's coming into the weekend as one of the top defensive backs in the Texas 2026 class and one of the top overall prospects in the state. Deck's offer list continues to grow and similar to the first two prospects, it has a "who's who" when it comes to college football. LSU, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame and Oklahoma are all programs that are going after Deck. We're looking forward to seeing the athletic safety in person this weekend. He's playing with a 940 Elite team that just made a run to the 18U championship in last weekend's Shock Doctor tournament in the Dallas area. Now, they are coming for the whole thing this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='403868' first='Taelyn' last='Mayo'] - 2027 Cornerback
(Playing With The LAB)

The only 2027 prospect on this breakdown is [player_tooltip player_id='403868' first='Taelyn' last='Mayo'] and this won't be our first time seeing him. Mayo came to one of our PRZ-Next camps in 2023 when he was in middle school and stood out there. Since then, Mayo has become one of the top overall prospects in the state's 2027 class. Mayo is definitely in the conversation for being the top defensive back in the class and his recruitment has already taken off as just a sophomore. Programs like Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, Texas and USC have all extended offers and that list continues to grow every week. In fact, in the last few days alone, Auburn, Baylor, Miami, Oklahoma and Oregon State have all offered Mayo. He'll be playing this weekend with The LAB and that's another program that could be one of the best in the field with all the talent they have.
