High school football players from every corner of Louisiana — and even dipping into Texas — visited Baton Rouge on Saturday to participate in the Prep Redzone Louisiana Stock Up Showcase.

The network's first-ever Louisiana-based event, held at the new Elite Training Academy near LSU, featured standout performances from every position group and every high school class.

Here's a look at a few of the top eye-catchers among the defensive backs.

Zakarri Hogan — 5-9, 165 DB — Zachary (2026)

We've written about Hogan in the past as an instinctive ballhawk at safety, but the quick, versatile defensive back stood out Saturday from start to finish — both of plays and of the event as a whole — as a physical and high-energy disruptor in man coverage as he effectively jammed receivers, ran with them stride-for-stride, racked up a slew of pass-breakups and then let his opponents hear about it.

[player_tooltip player_id='1372169' first='Jaden' last='Keleen'] — 5-11, 190 DB — John Curtis (2028)

The freshman earned MVP honors of the position group with his physical play throughout the day. Keleen is a thickly built, strong athlete who enforced his will at the line, throwing receivers off their releases, blanketing them throughout their route and making well-timed reaches for deflections.

[player_tooltip player_id='1197420' first='Erin' last='Moore'] — 5-10, 160 DB — University Lab (2026)

The long, lean cornerback ran some of the day's top 40-yard dash and shuttle times in the morning and then showcased that quickness and speed in competitive drills as he pressed and mirrored receivers and maintained tight coverage on the bulk of his reps and positioned himself to make late plays on the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1220961' first='Jayden' last='Perry'] — 6-2, 175 DB — Jewel Sumner (2025)

The graduating senior tested well with a pair of 40-yard dashes in the 4.5-second range and some of the day's longest broad jumps, pushing close to 10 feet. And his long frame gave receivers difficult at times creating space and then, if they did, helped Perry quickly recover and close windows again before the pass arrived.
