Class of 2027: WPIAL Linebackers Who Stole the Spotlight

He plays as a linebacker and running back. As a linebacker, he has good technique, and he does a nice job of making plays against the offense. He also does a good job running sideline-to-sideline to make tackles. When he gets near the ball carrier, he can make tackles well, especially in the open field. Then, on offense, he is a good running back that is hard to tackle. He has a physical running style that punishes the defense. He also shows a good burst when he hits the hole. He is excellent at reading his keys and attacking downhill. He is good against the run by attacking in or near the line of scrimmage. He then does a good job of making plays against the offense. He is a good tackler, especially in the open field. Lucas also played on the kickoff team and did a good job attacking and making plays against the kickoff returns teams of other teams. He does a nice job of flying around and making plays against the offense. He is excellent at making tackles in the open field. He also does a good job of reading and reacting to the play and attacking downhill. He then shows good ability to drop in coverage and take away pass plays. He is a good player on both sides of the ball. As a running back he shows good skills and does a good job of hitting the hole and having a good burst. He also is a physical runner who runs through contact well. As a linebacker, he shows good instincts and does a nice job attacking and making plays. He does an excellent job of making tackles in the open field. He has a great combination of size and speed to play the position. His ability to read and react to the play is excellent. He has a great feel for how to play the game. Then he shows good ability to make tackles in the open field. He also showed an excellent ability to cover receivers man-to-man defense, which is impressive. He showed good ability at both positions by keeping contain and making plays in the run game. He also showed a good motor as he chased plays all over the field from his edge position.
