A tough, workhorse type of back that busted over 2,300 yards and 35 TD's on 304 carries. He sizes up with a sturdy frame at 5'6" 190lbs, and runs with authority with a low pad level and strength at the POC. Really good balance and tenacity to run through opponents and keep plays moving forward, as he was a huge momentum player for Goldwater. Just a flat out pure football player that totaled over 1,600 yards on the ground with 9 TD's, also adding 233 yards and 2 TD's receiving. He busted for over 100 yards in 9 out of the 13 games played as well. Excellent vision to identify narrow developing lanes or quickly bounce toward the edges when needed, and flashes really good twitch in the open field to cut on a dime with a burst. Player possesses good vision and does a great job running behind 2nd level blockers to set up his cuts and then capitalizes with good top end speed to spring loose and finish big plays. This kid is everything you could want from a toughness, mean streak perspective for the next level. He landed himself on the 2nd team all conference squad by picking up over 1,500 yards and 17 TD's on 150 carries, while adding two more TD's receiving. At the :55 mark on his film he does a great job flashing those active feet with good COD and finishing with top end speed which was a college level run in my opinion. Aside from that, Bonilla runs angry and will frequently run through initial contact.
