It takes a special individual not just on the field but off it as well to be a great leader. It's not always glamorous and easy to be a leader of a large group of people and that to me is one of many reasons it stands out and that it's so well respected when someone is a leader. A great leader leads by example and just puts the cherry on top by playing great in games. There are so many great leaders in the state of Georgia and there are many positions that possess them. It takes great character and how one carries themselves on and off the field is where it begins. When others notice that, the respect on the field makes it that much easier to play alongside a guy that you know for a fact is doing everything with a positive purpose! Let's take a look at some high quality leaders in the class of 2029 in Georgia.      A definite leader on and off the gridiron is 2029 quarterback out of Mount Vernon, [player_tooltip player_id='1431627' first='Neev' last='Bohlken']! Bohlken is one of my favorite guys not just on the field but off it as well. He's an exceptional guy who carries a ton of respect for others and that automatically shows his leadership off the football field. However, all of those things carry on to the field for Neev. He brings that to practices and games and his teammates and coaches certainly take notice. Neev makes big play obviously with his tremendous ability to play the game but he is an entire package that will translate smoothly to the high school level which ultimately will result in him being one of the top names in the state of Georgia in the 2029 class!     I mean, Parker gets the spotlight a good bit based off of his unorthodox and tremendous skill sets playing the game of football but we are going to list him on this because what makes his game even more special is his leadership quality that helps galvanize his troops to go win games. He leads with his head up no matter the situation of the game though they went undefeated in the regular season and won the state title game, Parker still showed leadership in many areas in games that helped his teammates get on the same page so they could play in sync. One thing about this ultra talented Rome team in the 2029 class is that they have many leaders and Parker is certainly one of them.     At the quarterback position it's almost a must you possess some leadership skills and you do not have to look very far when watching [player_tooltip player_id='1289645' first='Ashton' last='Lumpkin']. Lumpkin has the natural ability to lead and it shows in his game play as he demands the driver seat with his style of play and his confidence to make plays and win games. Playing at a program like a Collins Hill it's a must to have that and Lumpkin certainly has it.     Now more than ever the defensive line position has evolved to be one of the premier spots on the field and it's required more of a leadership role than maybe it once did. Not to say it never did but it's definitely more so now. Samuels has the leadership qualities and you love to see that from one of your best players. Standing at an impressive 6'4 255 lbs in just the 8th grade, it's only in someone's imagination after seeing Samuels play that he's going to be special even more so at the next level. Samuels carries the leadership role as well as anyone and his playstyle backs it all up!     Cedar Grove produces some big time talents in the trenches and Mincey is going to be one of those guys who makes that same impact on the field. He's very talented and will only get better as time goes along and that's a great thing. Mincey has other qualities that make him special and that's being a leader. Being a leader on the offensive line and defensive line is great because often times you have a leader at the quarterback position and linebacker spot. However, you can have more than one leader on the team, that helps with getting the team in sync quicker when you have multiple leaders. Mincey brings that and is a name to keep a close eye on in the ultra talented 2029 class.
