2027 Rankings Update: New Additions Breakdown

The sophomore RB was the offense's most effective playmaker this season, rushing for over 800 yards and 8 TDs on 114 carries. Excellent vision around the LOS allows him to see lane development and possesses the speed and acceleration to capitalize. On the smaller side at 5'9"/175 but shows some strength, toughness, and contact balance when meeting defenders in space. Possesses quick agility and change-of-direction in tight spaces and can make multiple defenders miss with his slick elusiveness. D-I size and mobility on a 6'4-5" frame and around 300 lbs with all the physical traits to develop into a dominant OT. Overpowers defenders on the edge once he gets his hands on them and creates a strong push out of his stance with persistent leg drive. Shows some promising traits in pass pro and man blocking schemes but offers room for growth in the consistentcy of his hands and technique that will likely come with time and experience. Strong and powerful interior blocker that can move bodies behind his 6'1"/275 frame and work his way up to the second level with good mobility. Punishing run blocker that looks to drive defenders to the ground and is a nasty finisher at the POA. Versatile player that lined up at a variety of spots this season and flashed some promising skill and technique at every position he played. He's one of three Eldorado sophomore LBs making debuts in the official 2027 rankings. Physical downhill tackler that's most effective when he's attacking gaps and causing havoc around the LOS. Can shed and maneuver around blocks and shows some good power and burst on the ball. Stout, physical IOL at 6'2"/290 that plays violent at the POA and can move DL off the ball. Strong and effective with his hands, does a good job of using his eyes to identify threats as a free blocker, and shows some anchor in pass protection. Looks light and mobile on his feet and forms an effective double with the C and OTs. The 6'3"/200 EDGE prospect totaled 91 tackles, 3 sacks, and 4 TFLs as a sophomore. Active rusher off the edge that flashes some speed and explosiveness but is still developing athletically. Instinctive defender that can read/diagnose and does a good job of using his lengthy frame to deflect passes at the LOS. Room for improvement in his technique of the position but flashes some promising traits and ability on the edge.
