2027 Rankings Risers: WL to Ranked

The 6'1"/155 sophomore was the most productive wideout in his class this season with 44 catches for 814 yards and 9 TDs for the 5A D-III state champs. Smooth, natural athlete with an advanced skillset for the position and separation ability. Highly effective vertical threat with the speed, ball skills, and body control he brings to the table. Slick, elusive playmaker after the catch that's a constant threat to produce explosive plays anytime he touches the ball. The younger brother of one the top OL prospects in NV's 2025 class ([player_tooltip player_id='1323317' first='Leroy' last='Terry']), Caden is a big, strong IOL that holds promising upside in his size, mobility, and technique for the position. Does a good job of staying square, moves his feet well, and shows some ability to anchor down when dealing with oncoming power/bull rushers, and should be able to continue adding mass and anchor to his 6'3"/290 frame. Shoots through his blocks with leverage and delivers a violent strike to disrupt the rush, and shows great instincts/awareness when facing stunts and blitzes. Averaged an impressive 31 YPC on 18 receptions for 562 yards and 6 TDs. Quicky, twitchy athlete that can blow by defenders with natural burst and acceleration. High-utility weapon on offense that can turn jet sweeps and quick-hitters into explosive gains. Flashes some promising WR skills and fluidity as a route-runner and will be one to keep an eye on as we get a better idea of the full scope of his skillset and level of development over the coming seasons. Lean, athletic rusher off the edge at 6'3"/190 that can maneuver around OTs with his speed, technique and ability to bend around the corner. Twitchy and explosive getting off the ball, is extremely quick to read and react, and makes rangy plays out on the perimeter. Totaled 37 tackles and 2 sacks as a sophomore. Aggressive tackler in the box that's at his best attacking downhill between the OTs and causing havoc in the run game. Impactful A and B gap blitzer and showed some flashes of ability to read keys and get in position to make plays in middle-zone coverage. Still developing athletically but can pack a punch behind his 5'11"/195 frame when meeting RBs in the hole. Stout, physical athlete at 5'8"/230 that can move, get out in front as a puller, and drive defenders back with his persistent leg drive. Gets his hands in a good spot when engaging his blocks, sticks to the defender, and looks to finish each block to the ground. Strong foundation of technical skills and plus-side mobility give him strong upside to develop on.
