Aso battled against some of the top upper-classmen at the Vegas UTR camp and showed why he is ranked the #2 DT in the class of 2027. Aso has elite strength and instincts to make second moves on defenders after an initial power move. Although Aso is undersized, his quickness and strength allow him to play against anyone and excel.

Aso has done well this camp season in his transistion from OL to DL. Althought Aso is undersized, he posses great strenght, hand violance, and inctincts that allow him to do well against bigger opponents. The UTR Vegas camp will be a great oppurtunity for Aso to showcase against some of the top talent in Vegas.

Aso was a new addition to the official rankings after showing promising traits and ability from his OG spot for Liberty this season. Stout, physical athlete at 5’8″/230 that can move, get out in front as a puller, and drive defenders back with his persistent leg drive. Gets his hands in a good spot when engaging his blocks, sticks to the defender, and looks to finish each block to the ground. Strong foundation of technical skills and plus-side mobility give him strong upside to develop on. Aso will need to continue to grow physically before his recruiting stock really heats up but he certainly possesses great potential in his tools and skills.
