2026 Rankings Update- New Weapons We've Added at WR

Our new 2025 Rankings Update is live- and with that, we are looking at some of the new additions to our 2025 class!   Today, we are looking at some of our newest weapons at WRs! These guys put together some impressive junior seasons- be sure to watch their tape below!    [player_tooltip player_id='1552738' first='Nicholas' last='Hampton'] has been a huge red zone threat in Gulf Shores offense the last few years but especially last fall- he continued to make a ton of touchdown grabs in a really productive junior season. Hampton does a great job using his size to his advantage, at 6'3 215 he physically outmatches a lot of the DBs he faces against- frequently leading to some impressive high point catches over the tops of defenders. Hampton is also really effective after the catch- he's not the fastest but finds ways to work his way around defenders and make the most out of each reception. It's also impressive seeing Hampton block downfield- he doesn't take plays off and is a huge asset in the run game with how he can run defenders over. Hampton had a great season in Gulf Shores' passing attack last fall- ending the year with 35 receptions for 378 yards and 8 touchdowns. [player_tooltip player_id='1371428' first='Zion' last='Crumpton'] was a key weapon in Carver's offense last season- making plays all around the field as a dynamic pass catcher and moving the chains consistently for his offense. Crumpton is a crafty route runner capable of gaining tons of separation at every level of the field- he's such a reliable target in his offense and is always a safety valve for his QB to find. Once he's open, Crumpton has natural hands he uses to make impressive catches over the shoulder, downfield, and through contact. After the catch, Crumpton has breakaway speed and great change of direction skills he uses to make massive plays- it's really difficult for defenders to track and try to stop him once he's got the ball in his hands. Crumpton put together a great season last fall, ending the year with 27 receptions for 413 yards and 3 touchdowns. [player_tooltip player_id='1358240' first='Christian' last='Thomas'] had a breakout season this fall for Pinson Valley where he played like one of the best WRs in the 2026 class- he made lots of plays against some talented defenses and put together some great film from last fall. Thomas has excellent footwork and finds separation all over the field- it's insane to think he's developed his release to where it is as only a junior, he gains so much separation off the line of scrimmage it leaves DBs lost the rest of the play. Thomas has a set of very impressive hands, he's made some jaw-dropping catches over the last year along the sideline, in the back corner, through contact, and more. Thomas was an incredibly reliable red-zone threat last season- he has excellent body control and completely dominated on goal-line fades, making some highlight reel grabs over the tops of DBs all year long. Thomas was seriously productive last season- ending his junior year with 27 receptions for 701 yards and 11 touchdowns. With a season like that, teams are starting to take notice- UAB and Jacksonville State sent offers his way last week. Be sure to watch Thomas's tape below- he's got a ton of talent!      [player_tooltip player_id='1604818' first='Dominic' last='White'] was super productive last season for Minor in a lot of different ways, but especially as a dynamic wide receiver. White is a huge threat downfield- he has unreal speed and acceleration that let him completely cook opposing DBs, opening up massive opportunities deep downfield. White is not just a deep threat though- he's explosive however you get the ball to him- frequently taking screen passes and short routes to the house with how good he is after the catch. White is a really talented athlete who can make defenders miss, shed off tacklers, and provide a ton of explosive play at the WR position- he's going to be a problem for years to come. White made plays all over the field last fall- ending his season with 31 carries for 224 yards and 4 touchdowns, 24 receptions for 373 yards and 6 touchdowns, and 2 kickoff returns for touchdowns on the season. Be sure to watch White- he's put together some great tape and just picked up offers from UAB and North Alabama!      [player_tooltip player_id='1408975' first='Brody' last='Jones'] was one of the state's top receivers last fall- he has been unbelievable for Saint Michael Catholic's passing game and is only going to keep getting better. Jones is extremely good at getting open- he finds ways to gain separation against all types of defensive backs, at every level of the field, in every game. Jones is a really good route runner, he has a great release and finds ways to shake off DBs at or beyond the line of scrimmage. When he gets open, Jones does a great job securing catches and making defenders miss after the catch- he does a great job avoiding unnecessary contact and can make a ton of plays with the ball in his hands. Jones has spent time on both sides of the ball but was incredibly productive at WR- he ended the season with 104 receptions for 1581 yards and 15 touchdowns, with 3 interceptions on defense as well.
