2026 Rankings Update- New Dominant LBs We've Added

Our new 2026 Rankings Update is live! With that- we're checking out some of our newest prospects!   Today, we are looking at some of our newest LBs! These guys put together some great seasons last fall, be sure to check out their film below!    After his dominant season last fall for Montgomery Catholic, [player_tooltip player_id='1603650' first='Miles' last='Khatri'] has quickly become one of the top LB prospects in the state- making huge plays against the run and pass all year long. Miles is a versatile LB who can play both inside and outside- he can rush the passer, drop back into coverage, and is a constant threat to force turnovers. Khatri is highly athletic- he plays with a ton of speed and instincts, quickly reading and reacting to make huge game-changing plays against opposing offenses. Teofilo is unstoppable against the run- he does a great job setting the edge, taking on blocks, and affecting the ball carrier each snap. Khatri was super reliable for Montgomery Catholic's defense- ending the year with 117 total tackles (70 solo, 14 for loss), 4 sacks, 10 pass breakups, and one interception. Khatri put together some great film from last season- be sure to keep track of him next fall, he's picked up offers from Liberty, West Virginia, and North Alabama since the season ended!      [player_tooltip player_id='1604826' first='Charles' last='Chappelle'] is another dominant LB out of Montgomery Catholic who paired up with [player_tooltip player_id='1603650' first='Miles' last='Khatri'] to create one of the top LB corps in the state last year. Chappelle is highly athletic and really impresses out in coverage- although playing LB, Chappelle has terrific ball skills and can come away with PBUs and interceptions on some huge passing downs. Outside of coverage, Chappelle is really effective at blitzing and stopping the run- he is hard to contain when he's coming downfield and frequently comes away with huge plays in the backfield. Chappelle is really well-rounded in his playstyle and shows a ton of potential going forward, which is why teams at the next level are starting to take notice. Chappelle put together a strong season last fall, ending the year with 114 total tackles (72 solo, 10 for loss), 3 sacks, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles. With numbers like that, Chappelle has picked up collegiate attention- just recently picking up offers from Liberty and North Alabama. Be sure to watch his film below, he's put together some great tape!      [player_tooltip player_id='1590056' first='Marshall' last='Teofilo'] had a dominant junior season last fall and ended up as one of our All-State MLB picks, he made huge plays all around the field and was a constant force for Moody's defense. Teofilo is highly athletic and plays with great speed, physicality, and effort every time he takes the field. Teofilo has a lot of versatility to his game- he makes some huge plays on the ball in coverage, is a highly effective blitzer, and is excellent at filling in gaps and making huge tackles against the run. It's really impressive watching how much effort Teofilo plays with, he doesn't quit on plays and will try his hardest to bring the ball carrier down regardless of where he initially is lined up. Teofilo was all over the field making plays last fall- ending the year with 161 total tackles (105 solo, 5 for loss), 3 sacks, 11 hurries, two forced fumbles, and one blocked punt. Teofilo put up a really good season last fall- be sure to check out his film below, he does a lot for Moody's defense!      Rufus Boone was incredibly reliable for Pike Road last fall- he flew around the field and racked up tackles against some really talented offenses all across the state. Boone was a tackling machine last fall- it didn't matter who they played, or where he lined up, Boone was going to find a way to make an impact every down. Boone is a versatile headache for offenses to deal with- he's a great run defender, is great at generating pressure on the QB, and can make key tackles behind, at, or beyond the line of scrimmage. Boone has great football IQ and consistently places himself in great positions to make plays on the ball, he made a ton of game-changing plays last season that helped Pike Road's defense get off the field. It's really impressive seeing how Boone has grown as a prospect, he's got a huge senior year ahead of him next fall. Boone put together a great season last fall- ending the year with 160 total tackles (93 solo, 5 for loss), two sacks, 5 hurries, one interception, and 5 pass breakups. [player_tooltip player_id='1539017' first='Walt' last='Myrick'] has become a key piece of Wetumpka's defense, last fall he made a ton of game-changing plays for his defense all season long. Myrick is a talented player who can do a lot of different things really well on defense- he's great at generating pressure in the backfield, is terrific at stopping the run, and can even make some big plays out in coverage as well. Myrick is a really instinctual player who's excellent at reading and reacting to opposing offenses- he's always in a good position to make an impact or help his teammates make plays, regardless of whether they're running or passing. Myrick was really productive last season- ending the year with 78 total tackles (50 solo, 9 for loss), 5 sacks, 5 hurries, one interception, 3 pass breakups, and two forced/recovered fumbles. Myrick has some really good film- be sure to give him a watch, he's a talented prospect with a lot of potential!
