He is a very accurate passer that puts great touch on the ball down field it has the ideal size and frame for the position at the next level. Although he pocket passer, he shows good feet in the pocket and can buy time with his legs when needed and does a good job of keeping his eyes down field. He had a very strong Junior season in which he threw for over 2,900 yards and 25 touchdowns with over a 60% completion percentage on the year. He has a strong build and good frame for the position with plenty of growth potential through out his prep career. On tape, he shows a snappy release, can buy time in the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield and does a good job fitting balls into tight windows over the top with proper placement and velocity. He shows he can navigate the pocket efficiently and also shows he can throw on the run and across his body without losing zip on the ball. He is a mobile quarterback that does a good job at buying time with his legs and moving the pocket while able to throw across his body accurately and with good touch. In the pocket he is a very efficient passer that moves through his progressions quickly and scans the field without taking off to run too early. He shows good anticipation leading his receivers open it can fit the ball into tight windows over the middle and clearly trusts his arm. He passed for over 3,300 yards in his Junior season with 38 touchdowns, and had a QBR of 128 with over a 65% completion percentage. Stowers excels at navigating the pocket, evading pressure and breaking tackles while keeping his eyes downfield and can tuck it and run when needed while showing some downfield speed and wiggle. He does a nice job at placing the ball into tight windows away from defenders and shows the ability to throw on the run with good zip on the ball and across his body.
