2025 Rankings Update- Talented Specialists Making Their Debuts

Hughes has a heck of a strong leg and boots it out of the back of the endzone every kick-off- allowing his team to be stress-free when it comes to the opposing offense's starting field position. When it comes to the clutch, there's no one better than Hughes- he can hit any FG from any range, at any time. Hughes had a really productive senior season that featured him racking up 15/19 completed FGs (longest was 57 yards) and 43/44 PATs, leading to his career total of 30/34 FGs and 134/135 PATs. Hughes did everything he could throughout his time at Fort Payne- it didn't matter if they were 50+ yards out, or within 10, he was going to find a way to get the ball through the uprights. With how consistent he's been Hughes has picked up some collegiate attention from schools like Sewanee, Berry, and more. Faulk has a big leg, is highly accurate, and can do anything his coaches need him to do in the kicking game. It's really impressive seeing him on kickoffs- he's extremely consistent at getting the ball out the back of the endzone and never lets the returner get the ball in his hands. Faulk is also incredibly reliable as a placekicker, consistently hitting FGs from deep out and completing almost every PAT throughout his whole career. With how well he's performed for Sparkman, Faulk has seen some collegiate interest head his way- picking up offers from Miles, Capital, Tennessee Valley, and more. McGuire has an incredibly talented leg that serves in both punting and kicking in some huge ways. As a punter, McGuire can boot it and completely flip the field for his team's defense. He gets great distance, hangs time, and accuracy off of his punts that allow the coverage team to easily get downfield and make tackles on the returner. As a kicker, McGuire is just as reliable- he can hit FGs from anywhere on the field, under a wide range of conditions, and in the clutch when it matters most. McGuire had a really productive senior season that ended with him recording 51/54 PATs, 8/12 FGs, and 50 punts for 2172 yards. McGuire's dominance hasn't gone unnoticed- he's headed off to play at Auburn next fall and is sure to be an early contributor. He was incredibly reliable on special teams and was able to help his team land a lot of huge kicks throughout the year. Reeder does his job really well- he's extremely quick to get the ball out, is highly consistent with the ball's laces, and was a key piece of an FG unit that made a ton of big kicks all season long. With how quickly Reeder snaps the ball, he allowed his team to never worry about any punts or kicks getting blocked, consistently helping his team with field position, scoring, and late-game clutch scenarios.
