The Early Signing Day is in the rearview mirror of the fast-moving college calendar. We saw several athletes from across WI put pen to paper and lock in the dreams that they have been working years to accomplish. I can't wait to watch those dudes contribute at the next level. Before we do that, we still have so much talent in the Class of 2025 looking for their college homes. Our spotlight turns towards those athletes in this article as we begin a little bit of a series looking at some of the state's best uncommitted senior talent. Senior athletes, if you would like to be included in a future one of these articles reach out to me on X/Twitter at @MJ_NFLDraft and I will make sure you are included. Let's dive into this first bunch of need to know athletes!

Arguably the hardest hitting defender in Wisconsin is still available to be added to a 2025 recruiting class. The 6'2" 210 lbs MLB Lamarcus Vinson Jr. has a highlight reel loaded with jaw-dropping tackles. His closing speed and power to run through his tackles not only ends forward progression, it usually has the offensive player running backwards or leaving his feet. LaMarcus has strong instincts, moves with the flow of the play, and has the range to get to the sideline to chase down the ball off the edge. The senior has shown on his tape that he is able to play through traffic while avoiding blocks, and he is comfortable dropping into a zone. Vinson is a top uncommitted defender in WI. Get eyes on the Milwaukee standout.

There are still quality senior QBs available here in WI, and one of the athletes at the top of the list is dual threat [player_tooltip player_id='262064' first='Wade' last='Lindahl']. The 4 year varsity starter has put together an outstanding career including 92 passing TDs (T-2nd Most All Time), almost 8,300 passing yards (3rd All Time), and 10,000 all purpose yards (5th All Time). The '25 produces and wins and he has been doing it for his entire 4 years at Lourdes Academy.

The 6'1" 200 lbs senior does a great job maximizing his athleticism. He has the speed to kill a defense with his legs. Wade will break off the long TD run, then on the next drive use his legs to buy time while keeping his eyes downfield. He has a great handle on when to make a play with his legs and when to use them to give him guys time downfield. When he goes to the air you will be hard-pressed to find a QB with more touch to all three levels of the field. Wade can place the ball where his man can go make a play on it without the risk being too high. Lindahl has a great grasp of his offense and I believe he will be able to learn quickly at the next level. Give the senior steal a look.

Offensive coaching staffs and recruiters in need of a gadget/mismatch player that they can utilize out in space need to check out Catholic Memorial's [player_tooltip player_id='685948' first='Damyias' last='Lopez']. On the ground, Damyias is an explosive back that is able to turn the slightest glimpse of daylight into a field-flipping carry. His burst to top speed and the open field speed allow him to be patient behind the line, quickly find the lanes, and take off. Lopez really locks in his ability to threaten a defense with his abilities as a receiver out of the backfield. His speed is too much for LBs to cover him 1 on 1 out of the backfield. The senior even gives DBs trouble when he is asked to stretch the field on wheel routes or attacking up the seam. Get this kid on campus, let him pack on some size early on, and then let him change games later in his career with 5-7 touches. You could even bring him in at slot cornerback with his agility, quick feet, and reactive athleticism.

A senior WR that teams need to try and get on their rosters is Bay Port's [player_tooltip player_id='1209415' first='Sawyer' last='Torp']. The 6'2" 175 lbs WR made huge impacts with the deep threat he provided the offense. Just looking at the regular season, Torp scored 8 TDs in 8 games while also averaging almost 17 yds/rec. Then in the playoffs he helped the Pirates earn their first D1 State Championship. Torp is one of the best in this class at being a deep threat. He excels at tracking the ball, adjusting to it, and attacking it at the high point. Torp also does a great job of making the catch through contact and traffic. The bigger WR is also able to make an impact in the short passing game with his body control through the more sudden route breaks. Check him out. Size, deep threat, and sure-handed.

I can't wait to see who steals this kid. Kevork brings a 6'4" 235 lbs frame to the field that is ready to partake in a college weight room and nutrition program so he can continue to pack size onto that frame. The senior OT dominates with his aggressive play. He brings the fight to the DL, using his length to gain control with well placed hands. In the run game Kevork does a great job using his strength and leg drive to create the necessary push to drive his man out of a gap or reset the line of scrimmage downfield. That aggressiveness with another 50 lbs on his frame could give a program a dominant force in the trenches. What he does offer right now is outstanding range and athleticism at OT, and I expect a lot of that to remain as he adds good weight over the coming years. Don't miss out on this hidden gem. He has gotten better and better. His best football is still way ahead of him.

One of the most productive receivers in the State is still on the market. Ladysmith's [player_tooltip player_id='1027345' first='Braeden' last='Little'] posted 65/990/11 plus almost 100 rushing yards and 3 more TDs. Braeden dominated small school competition with a skillset that was unfair at that level. He has the talent to be a go-to man at the next level. Strong hands to secure the catch away from his body, outstanding hand-eye coordination, and a great sense of how to play the ball in the air highlight his entire tape. I love the way you can see him accelerate through his route breaks on tape leading to consistent separation for his QB to easily find and target. The senior WR has next level speed, but I believe his short area quickness is even more impressive and will allow him to be an impact in the quick passing game where he can create yards after the catch. Dive into this highlight reel.

An athlete who is more under the radar that teams should take a minute to look at is Kimberly's senior RB [player_tooltip player_id='383788' first='Marcus' last='Doucette']. Marcus was only able to play in 4 games this season, but he produced about 300 yards in those games. The 5'11" 200 lbs RB is a downhill, physical runner who only gets harder to tackle the more he gets upfield. He has a low center of gravity that allowed him to break tackles and pinball off defenders trying to lower a shoulder on him. Marcus has built a strong frame, has solid tape, and hasn't had to handle a ton of carries so there isn't a ton of wear and tear. It's quick tape, so give it a look.

One of the most impressive seasons came from the La Crosse Logan QB/LB/ATH [player_tooltip player_id='262117' first='Bradley' last='Check']. The 5'10" 210 lbs athlete did it all for the Rangers. On offense the senior is at his best on the ground. He has the speed to flip the field, and when needed he can punish tacklers. His vision behind the line and decision making on options were strengths all year long. Check's contact balance and ability to break tackles jump off the tape too as he dominates between the tackles. On defense, Bradley dominates with his instincts and quick play diagnosis. The senior plays downhill like he is shot out of a cannon against the run and runs through his tackles attempts. Check is a versatile athlete that can be plugged into a couple positions. You need to give him a look.
