Our Prep Redzone Carolinas Stock Up Showcase was a huge success. Over the next few days we'll have scouting reports on every player in attendance. First, I wanted to break down some of the top performers in a different way.

The wide receivers were great. To give myself more room and to give the tight ends their own space, I wrote about each of the tight ends here. To break down the receivers, I'm giving them accolades to help differentiate their skill sets.

Top Stock Up Showcase Wide Receivers

Speed Kills: [player_tooltip player_id='1149043' first='Cayden' last='Cole'], Carolina Forest; Jayden Boyd, Fairfield Central

A pair of the 2026 receivers led the way in both the 40 times and in functional speed. Cole and Boyd were each among the five fastest players in attendance, with Boyd winning the race between the five by a wide margin. As a few of my South Carolina colleagues like to say though, a hand-timed 40 is less important than how someone runs with the ball.

Both of these guys used their speed to leave defenders in the dust in one-on-ones, getting in and out of their breaks with ease. Boyd, in particular, understands how to use his speed as a weapon and you can see he knows how to put defenders on their heels before making his break.

Better In Person: [player_tooltip player_id='563219' first='Greyson' last='Mosley'], Willow Spring; [player_tooltip player_id='1581474' first='Mason' last='Miles'], Lake Marion

I love a good Hudl highlight reel, but some guys look better studied in person. Both Mosley and Miles fit that description.

I've been a fan of Mosley's for a while. That being said, he's primarily a gadget guy for Willow Spring. He does most of his damage on screens and other schemed touches where he doesn't have to do much route running. He usually gets the ball behind the line of scrimmage and then beats defenders after the catch. On Sunday, I was blown away by his natural feel for route runner. He doesn't get many opportunities to show that on film, but in person, he stood out among his peers.

Similarly, Miles wins with pure athleticism on film. He makes a lot of plays after the catch or with his speed. But on Sunday, he made plays with his technical releases and crisp cuts. He showed great hands and a good feel for route running as well, showing he has the technical ability to go with his athleticism.

More Than the Metrics: [player_tooltip player_id='1327713' first='Matthew' last='Hillstock'], Easley; [player_tooltip player_id='1402494' first='Treyvon' last='Pauling'], Lake Marion; [player_tooltip player_id='1363017' first='Kmari' last='Mizell'], Beaufort

Some guys aren't the biggest or fastest but just know how to get open. Hillstock, Mizell and Pauling are gamers. None of those guys stand out when standing next to a bunch of other receivers. Even when it came to athletic testing, they held their own, but I wasn't ready to write them down as the top performers.

When it was time to run routes and catch passes, however, these three stood out from the first rep. All three have hands and a feel for the nuances of route running. If the ball was near them, they usually caught it on Sunday.

The Future: [player_tooltip player_id='1580630' first='Billy' last='Miller'], Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach; [player_tooltip player_id='1581471' first='Isaiah' last='Robinson'], Byrnes

Two of the most physically-impressive receivers on Sunday were freshmen. Miller stands at a verified 6'2", 180 pounds while Robinson had one of the better 5-10-5 numbers we saw on Sunday. They win in different ways, but both were impressive.

Miller knows how to use his body and runs well for his size. He used his long arms and body to shield defenders on jump balls and did a good job of putting himself between the defender and the ball on multiple different routes.

Robinson wins in tight spaces with a solid release and good quickness at the top of his routes. He was able to create separation with more than just his straight-line quickness.

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='1172363' first='Khristian' last='Jackson'], Ridge View

Jackson showed why he could be a future Power Four prospect on Sunday. He had no weakness among the group and he was in the top five for every athletic testing drill.

In one-on-ones he was the most complete receiver as one of the better route-runners in attendance. He has room to grow with his release package but was still one of the more comfortable receivers at getting off the line. When the ball was in the air, there was no one better at completing catches, even against the top defensive backs.
