The QB MVP showed why he is one of the upcoming QBs in the state. His elite release was on full display throughout the event. He has very good throw power. During the 1 on 1 drills with WRs & DBs, Rubley demonstrated his very good accuracy and ball placement skills. Very good accuracy at all 3 levels. He would thread the needle, in a tight window where only his receiver could catch it. Rubley would throw the ball in stride of the wide out, or right above their head. He was making good throws for his wide receivers to showcase their individuals' skills. I am very impressed with Rubley, and I believe he will be one of the top Colorado QBs over the next couple of years.

Espinoza made a name for himself during the showcase. The speedy Ponderosa quarterback was making very accurate throws during the day. He has a good over the top release, mixed with good throw power. He launches the ball downfield, with a nice touch to it. I was very impressed with his accuracy and footwork. Very good short accuracy. He kept his feet underneath his shoulders, and moved around to find the receiver. Espinoza's good ball placement was on full display. The defensive backs were scrappy all day, so Espinoza would throw the ball leading the receiver to it. Great job from the young QB.

Hirstine was launching the football all throughout camp. His very good throw power was creating headaches for the defensive backs. Hirstine has good athletic ability due to his good speed, acceleration, and change of direction. He showcased these skills during the drills. Where Hirstine really shined was the 1 on 1s with wide receivers and defensive backs. He has a good over the top release, mixed with his very good throw power. I was impressed with his accuracy. Whether it was a short, medium, or deep route, Hirstine was completing passes to his receivers all day. Grandview has a good one on their hands.

Gardner caught my eye during the 40-yard dash. He has very good acceleration and speed. Even though it was a 40-yard, he showed very good burst of acceleration needed to excel in game time. Gardner has a cannon for an arm, launching it to the receiver downfield. It didn't matter if they were covered up by the DB, he was still throwing it in tight windows and succeeding. Very good release. Quick and snappy. He's a dual threat option, able to pick the defense off with his legs. I'm very excited to see how Gardner does next year for Legacy.

Garcia was one of two Fort Collins quarterbacks who attended the event. During the individual drills with quarterbacks, his fluid hips and snappy release stood out to me. Garcia showcased very good footwork, while maintaining his eyes downfield to find the contested receiver. Jace has good throw power, and very good accuracy needed to excel at the high school level. His quick and snappy release makes him a formidable quarterback. His deep accuracy shined at the event. He launched it with great touch, meeting his receiver downfield. Garcia has all the tools to excel, and I'm excited to see how the freshman develops over the next couple of seasons.
