The Central District Football Coaches Association recruiting night took place at Delaware Hayes High School last Wednesday. Several coaches gathered to share information on their prospects, including a bunch of under-the-radar 2025s. Here are five standouts coaches recommended:

Jake Davis, Northridge LS

Need a long snapper? Ranked a 4.5-star by Rubio and the top LS in Ohio for the Class of 2025, Davis is your man. His 6-foot-3, 210-pound frame lends itself well to the position. He can quickly snap and get upfield to cover on punts. He also has a playing history at tight end.

MJ Jackson, Columbus Academy DE

Jackson is a big and strong defensive end and good pass rusher, but he also has very good positional flexibility with experience playing at left tackle and playing all over the defensive line. He has three Division II offers, but that could change in the transfer portal era.

Tyreek Lewis - Northland DE

Head coach Ryan Sayers has been lobbying for Lewis for awhile, and it's easy to see why: the EDGE prospect is a strong run defender who can sift through offensive linemen and read and react on the move. He can also stick his nose in a pile and wrap up and takes good angles to the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1069953' first='Owen' last='Lowry'] - Pleasant OH

Lowry throws with good velocity between the hashes, displays a quick release and can throw on the move. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound gunslinger is also very mobile.

Mason Curtis - Alder

Curtis is a good between-the-tackles back who can be gone if he finds a crease. He makes up for his lack of ideal height with plenty of juice and runs through contact.
