I've lost track of how many times we've covered [player_tooltip player_id='887645' first='Braylon' last='Rayford'] in writeups throughout his middle school career, but the kid just keeps on producing. Up to a legitimate 6-foot-2 and 180-pounds with an insane amount of athleticism, Rayford has all the potential in the world to be one of the most dominant players in Las Vegas over the next four years. He recently wrapped up the 2024 season with an MVP performance in the AYF 14U D1 National Championship Game, helping Vegas Strong defeat the Maryland Heat.

Originally a Philadelphia native, Idrees Davis has called Nevada home for several years now. Over the last two years, he has cemented himself near the very top of the list when looking at class of 2029 Running Backs in the greater Las Vegas area. Spends a ton of time in the gym and it shows in build and full-body strength. Very complete Running Back with explosion and impressive quickness in short space. He'll be a name to know for the future.

If [player_tooltip player_id='887645' first='Braylon' last='Rayford'] was the main threat running the ball for the 14U Vegas Strong team this year, than Tanoah Kauhi was the go-to Wide Receiver. Also like Rayford, I first saw Kauhi two years ago as a member of the Vegas All-Star team and I immediately took a liking to him. Two inches and 10-15 pounds heavier then last year, he finished the 2024 season with an AYF 14U D1 National Championship and 30 receptions for 683 yards and 10 touchdowns. Kauhi also played defense and tallied 30 tackles (2 for loss) and a pair of interceptions.

The 14U Vegas All-Stars finished fourth in the AYF National All-Star bracket, but showed off a lot of impressive ability. With unquestionably its best team, the Vegas Strong 14U, winning the 14U D1 bracket, they were without the majority of the most elite kids in their conference. However, the 14U All-Stars cleaned up with the "best of the rest" from the conference--prospects like [player_tooltip player_id='1588941' first='Trent' last='Mitchell']. Mitchell had a stellar season on both sides of the ball for the Game Changers Sports Academy (GCSA) team. A Wide Receiver with moves to get open at the line, and a body type that allowed for a ton of big plays deep, as of December 2024. Defensively, has the current body type and ability to shine as a Safety or Outside Linebacker. The designation of Wide Receiver/Athlete is well-deserved.

The opinion of a source I trust very much recently texted me, "[player_tooltip player_id='419185' first='Raiden' last='Johnson'] is the best 8th grade Middle Linebacker I have ever seen out West." After seeing him live for the first time in two years--and, I hate using/agreeing to superlatives--but there's a lot to be said for that. At a slimmed down 6-foot-2 and 205-pounds, Johnson looks like he could walk into a FCS/D2 college football locker room today as a 2029 prospect--and not look out of a place. Johnson, spent his youth career bouncing between the OG Ducks and Vegas Strong--two of the most feared programs in all of youth football. The kid is special as of December 2024--and I 110% agree. The only thing to pay attention to here, is if he grows "too big" for the Linebacker position and is moved to an Edge positions. Regardless, he's on his way to Bishop Gorman and should have double digit offers by the end of his freshman year.
