We continue looking at the 2026 class with five more names to get familiar with this offseason! These players have shown they have the skill set to be nice additions to any team's recruiting class.

The 3-peat Knights will be looking to make it four in a row next season and return a solid core to help make that happen. One player who will be a key contributor again next year is junior LB [player_tooltip player_id='1113988' first='Gage' last='Yosten']. Gage is a physical linebacker with great size at 6'1" and 215 pounds, with solid range to his game. He does a great job using his hands and size to disengage from blocks at the line of scrimmage. Gage plays with excellent instincts that allow him to correctly read his keys and fill his gaps very efficiently. His sharp first step helps propel him downhill, where he can quickly close on the ball at or behind the line of scrimmage. Tons of production with 90 tackles and two interceptions during his junior campaign while only competing in 10 of 13 games. Definitely a player to buy stock in now.

[player_tooltip player_id='795602' first='Cole' last='Signor'] (Twitter), QB - Norfolk - 6'1" 185 lbs

We're staying in Norfolk to highlight our next prospect in Panther's QB [player_tooltip player_id='795602' first='Cole' last='Signor']. Cole is a player who really started to rise in our eyes last off-season after a series of standout appearances at showcases, camps, and 7v7 events. Signor carried that momentum into his junior year by throwing for 1,923 yards and 22 passing touchdowns. Cole displays great arm talent and can make all the throws on the field. He can make accurate throws to the outside, layer his throws over the middle of the field, and throw with good anticipation. Strong enough arm to make the deep passes. One thing that seems to be underrated about Cole's game is how good he is on the move. He can evade the pass rush well and throw effectively when rolling out of the pocket. Cole should be on the rise this offseason!

Here's another gunslinger I can see catching fire this offseason with a good camp circuit. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='317642' first='Hayden' last='Holdren'] had a solid season as QB1 for Lincoln Standing Bear, which was competing in its first varsity season in program history. Hayden is a player who passes the QB eye test immediately at 6'4" and 205 pounds while possessing a strong arm. Holdren does a great job going through his progressions and getting the ball out quickly while showing he can put some nice zip on his passes. He's very comfortable in the pocket, displaying nice footwork as he navigates through pressure and the toughness to take on hits to give his receivers time to get open downfield. He had good placement on his passes, with several great plays in which he caught his receiver perfectly in stride. Hayden only seemed to get more and more comfortable in the offense every week, so I'm looking forward to seeing how he continues to develop going into his senior season.

Western Nebraska is a very underrated area for football talent, with several great players emerging from there. One player to watch out for is Scottsbluff junior [player_tooltip player_id='1573615' first='Adain' last='Haffner'], who was a nice find when looking over rosters for district teams. Haffner possesses solid size at 6'3" and 280 pounds, with great athleticism to go with it. Adain popped from the very first play in his tape, displaying great explosiveness and lateral burst. He is especially effective as a run blocker, as he is able to execute pulling blocks and is quick to work his way to the second level to seal off linebackers. Haffner is a violent finisher who is always looking to drive his opponent into the ground, and he can do so very well with his strong upper body and powerful leg drive. He is aggressive at the point of attack, with great pop in his hands to stun defenders upon contact. Stock rising!

[player_tooltip player_id='779703' first='Jett' last='Herian'] (Twitter), DB/ATH - Alliance - 5'10" 160 lbs

We'll stay in the panhandle to check out Alliance's versatile defender, Junior [player_tooltip player_id='779703' first='Jett' last='Herian']. Jett has contributed to the Bulldog's defense since his freshman season but has turned it up a notch since becoming a starter as a sophomore. Herian finished his junior campaign with 43 tackles, 3 TFLs, an interception, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. Herian is a player who can line up at several positions, from safety to nickel to outside linebacker. He can play as the single high safety or be moved up into the box to help out in run support. What's really impressive to watch from Jett's tape is his range and ability to close on the ball from nearly anywhere on the field. This is especially clear in his run defense, flashing a quick trigger to break downhill when he keys in on the run. Once he gets to the ball, Herian has shown that he is a sound tackler who can use great technique to bring down the ball carrier. Jett could also be gearing up to battle for the QB1 spot next year, so this will be a big offseason for him!

[player_tooltip player_id='1114937' first='Ben' last='Monheiser'] (Twitter), LB - Sidney - 6'0" 190 lbs

Why not a third panhandle prospect? Sidney Red Raider, [player_tooltip player_id='1114937' first='Ben' last='Monheiser'], is a thumper of a linebacker that you're gonna want to check out sooner rather than later. Monheiser finished his junior campaign with 59 tackles and a fumble recovery as a starter on one of the best defenses in Class C1. Ben is a very sound linebacker who fills gaps effectively and flows to the ball naturally. He has a quick trigger when he keys on the run and can close space on the ball carrier very well. Ben has good size at 6'0" and 190 pounds, which helps him fight off blockers at the line of scrimmage to continue pursuing the ball. Great motor and intensity. Ben is also a consistent tackler who can blow up backs in the hole and execute open-field tackles. Great upside prospect to get on campus this offseason!
