Raines commands attention with his prototype quarterback build, standing at 6'3" and 215+ pounds. His arm talent is unquestionable, and he's been showcasing his passing prowess since his FBU Maryland All-Star days, where I first evaluated him in 2022. This season, Ben trailed Gatorade Player of the Year [player_tooltip player_id='272253' first='Malik' last='Washington'] by just 165 yards, passing for 1,805 yards and 13 touchdowns. On film, Raines consistently demonstrates his accuracy and athleticism. Whether in the pocket or on the run, he has the ability to fit the ball into tight windows, delivering strikes to his receivers in tight coverage. As for recruiting, Raines has drawn significant interest from the University of Ohio. Given his track record of excellence, any Division I program would be remiss not to keep him on their recruiting board heading into next season.

The All-County senior led the MIAA in rushing with 753 yards and 9 touchdowns. A majority of his yardage came between the tackles, where his physical running style stood out. Though he was rarely targeted in the passing game, Gorman made the most of his opportunities, finishing with 2 receptions: one for 10 yards and another for 23 yards and a touchdown. He showcases impressive burst when breaking into the open field, using his acceleration to rip off big plays. With the ball in his hands, Gorman runs with power, consistently bulldozing through defenders in one-on-one situations. As his recruitment process continues, he remains in search of a collegiate destination, recently visiting the University of New Haven. We'll be keeping a close eye on his recruitment as the offseason unfolds

Pross took the MIAA by storm this season, emerging as another dynamic receiving threat for Loyola. He showcased deep ball potential and impressive ball skills, hauling in several contested catches throughout the year. His biggest asset was his reliable hands, making consistent catches all over the field. Pross finished the season with 35 receptions, 601 yards, and 5 receiving touchdowns. His breakout performance gives Loyola's passing game something special to build on for the 2025 season. Pross capped off his year with a game-changing interception in the Turkey Bowl, sealing the victory on the other side of the ball while still using his hands to make a crucial play.

Ledbetter showcased impressive versatility in his running style this season, forming a dynamic tandem with Gorman in the Spalding backfield. He led the MIAA with 66 scored points, 11 touchdowns, rushing for 697 yards on 108 carries. In the screen game, he proved to be a serious threat, recording 3 receptions of 30+ yards out of his 4 total catches on the season. The future looks promising, as in every game where he received more than 10 carries, Ledbetter rushed for over 100 yards.

Behind teammates Washington, Gorman, and Ledbetter, McAfee ranks near the top in touchdowns with 9 this season. He recorded 50 catches for 594 yards, solidifying his status as one of the most impressive 2027 prospects in the state. McAfee earned offers from UNLV, Duke, and several other schools, adding to an already growing list of suitors. The sophomore playmaker displayed flashes of dominance, making tough catches downfield, running sharp, sudden routes, and leaving defenders in the dust off the line of scrimmage. As McAfee continues to build his resume, expect his role to expand, with more opportunities to showcase his talent and increase his visits to the end zone.
