D7 State Final Preview: Hillsdale vs. Marion Local

Hillsdale gives him the freedom in the zone run game, and he can make positive plays. He is tall and lengthy which makes him a hard tackle for defenders. In the passing game, Lewis is typically good in getting the ball out on time and has good connections on quick sideline balls. One of my favorite attributes of Lewis his his ability to deliver a ball while getting hit or facing oncoming pressure. He can get vertical and beat defenses deep with his arm talent. Whether on offense, where he can lay a vicious block, or on defense, where he'll meet you at the line and stuff you as a DB. Young is good at reading the defense and stopping in holes for his quarterback. He uses his size offensively well and can create plays from jump balls and sheer physicality. He has good long speed and can find gaps to sit in. Defensively, he is a safety that can attack the running back well. From XPs, he is 63-of-66. In a season where Hillsdale has set school records offensively, Brown has only been called for two FGs all season, and he is 1-of-2 from the field. As a runner, Lause is extremely physical and consistently offers a threat as he splits carries. His balance is good and can gain yards after contact well. At linebacker, he is instinctive and plays safe yet chaotic football. He has the ability to fly around and disrupt what should be easy plays. He has over 2,000 total yards on the season and 20+ touchdowns. Knouff has a good arm and can beat you deep which doesn't come easy in D7. His athleticism is there and he can make plays on his feet.
