Beehive Buzz: Receivers

The Beehive Buzz is a series where we'll take a look at a handful of players each time and the excitement surrounding them as we head into the offseason and look ahead at the 2025 season.    As a freshman, Tua'One made an impact on a deep Timpview offense. Tua'One brings excellent vision and field awareness which resulted in early success as a returner and gained valuable playing time as the season went on. He is a twitchy athlete with strong hands and excellent ball-tracking skills. With his plus speed, he was used as a chess piece but primarily lined up in the slot and was schemed up to get the ball in his hands where he could create after the catch. Tua'One is a dynamic player who will grow into his frame.     Taiese is a good route runner and displays solid footwork and movement patterns. He does a good job of not getting jammed at the line with press coverage and is good in and out of his breaks. Taiese does an excellent job of showing his hands late to not give the corner any indication the ball is coming his way and he displays a good catch radius with strong hands and will naturally catch the ball outside of his frame.     Meza has excellent footwork with little wasted movement. He is great in and out of his breaks and understands tempo and leverage. In addition, Meza is a sudden and snappy mover and will put his corner in a spin cycle. Meza has plus speed and someone that can take it to the house, but he's not a finesse player. He is a physical run blocker and somone that enjoys that aspect where a lot of receivers will take those plays off. Excellent motor and high IQ.     Glasker has excellent ball-tracking skills and the ability to gain chunk yards after the catch. He is a throw-it-up and he'll run under it type of playmaker. Glasker has excellent speed and corners must respect the threat that he can take the top off the defense. Glasker does an excellent job transitioning upfield with the ball and has little wasted movement. He has strong hands and someone who is a threat to take it to the house each time he has the ball.     Gustafson is a creator with the ball in his hands. He's a Quarterback's best friend as he finds ways to get open, when the play breaks down, he does an excellent job of working his way in the direction of his signal caller. A slippery route runner, who has a knack of making plays.    Conclusion: That wraps up our first Beehive Buzz, we'll be back next time to cover some more Utah gems.
