2025 Rankings: New Additions Deep Dive

I have gotten eyes on all of these prospects and they performed well all year long earning their recent inclusion. It did not take long for him to start to dominate opposing defensive lines and raise his stock.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As an OG, Eddie plays physical, mean &amp; nasty in a good way. Will finish through the whistle and put guys in the dirt. Moves well, can pull and run on his toes, and can get up to the second level. Eddie committed to Brown during the fall after their OL Coach Morrissey recruited him early on. Eddie's performance all year earned him a spot in the Top 100 overall prospects and the #12 overall offensive lineman. He has a great long lean frame with a huge wingspan. He does a little bit of everything for Springbrook playing WR/TE/LB/DE and showing his athleticism at all spots. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On offense, Babacar shows nice hands and the ability to stretch the field vertically as an X WR or work the middle of the field as a TE. He also can be a playmaker after the catch showing good burst and wiggle for a guy his size in the open field. At the defensive side, you see Babacar get sideline to sideline. He can come off the edge, shows good COD in his hips and is a strong tackler. I expect many more colleges to stop by Springbrook HS in this final Jan-Feb recruiting window as Babacar has a high ceiling as a prospect and can blossom into a dude down the line. He can line up at WR, DB, and in the return game. He is playmaker at all of them and made 4A 1st team DB and Returner.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A muscled up player, EJ looks the part on the hoof as well as being a high level overall athlete. A high level track athlete- he plays with burst / explosiveness, a great leaper who will go up and get the ball. On offense, EJ shows the ability to get off the line quickly and create separation while demonstrating nice ball skills/body control snatching the ball out the air. At DB, he is rangey and ball hawk. He plays physical/aggressive, will run the alley and deliver a hit. Plays with fluid hips and always attacks the ball. He had 49 total tackles with 11 TFLs and constant QB pressures. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A player with good size, a nice frame, and a verified 82" wingspan; Marc checks a lot of boxes for the next level as he could easily hold 270+ to go along with that length. He displays nice bend at the LOS to go along with nice feet, playing on his toes and being able to strafe down the line. He plays fast and physical, coming down hill or getting sideline to sideline and is a strong tackler. A good overall athlete too, as you can see form his offensive production; Terrence shows nice hips and twitch. Allowing him to re-direct on defense and get skinny through blockers to get to the ball. A high football IQ player as well, Merchant can step in and do whatever the team needs of him and is just a true football player. A kid that if he was 6'2" would be an offer guy because he plays the game the way every coach loves. He was huge for Allegany on both sides of the ball at RB &amp; LB. Racking up over 100 tackles on defense and over 1,300 yards and 12 TDs rushing. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I saw Jackson live earlier this season versus St. James School (MD) and he was making play after play on both sides of the all all game long. He plays fast, physical and with a high motor. He comes down hill fills and lays the wood, tackling through the ball carrier. As a RB he plays similar, hits the hole and gets going and runs behind his pads with power/burst. He helped lead QO to another state championship this year and made 2nd team all MoCo. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A calm in the pocket QB, Travon throws a pretty ball. He shows solid arm strength with smooth release and good mechanics. You see Travon go through his reads / progressions and throws with timing &amp; accuracy. He can move the pocket to extend the play, throws well on the run and can scramble for yards as well as run the QB read. Travon's deep ball is something that stands out to me. He stands tall in the pocket, steps up and throws a beautiful pass the gets up and down with accuracy able to hit the WR in stride. Travon is a QB who can make the throws, a smart decision maker with the ball, makes plays, and just wins games.
