I decided to combine my top performing linemen article as this was a small group compared to our previous camps. Please understand that while there may have been only 10 linemen in attendance they were all elite competitors. We had FBS level talent in this group with our MVP going to St John's College stud [player_tooltip player_id='1657649' first='Rylan' last='Hunt'].

Hunt was awesome last season for Forest Park, earning all conference honors while helping the Bruins return to the playoffs. He came in on Saturday with a mission and he was very impressive in both the testing and individual sessions. I think what stood out most for him to receive MVP was the work he showed off during the 1v1s. Hunt had to face a few Division 1 defensive linemen and never flinched. I wrote about him last week that I wouldn't be surprised if he received offers before his junior season began and look what happened yesterday evening!

He sure looked the part on Saturday, Tyler ran a 5.1 40 which is one of the faster times across all our showcases regarding linemen. If we were doing this on testing numbers alone Tyler wins the MVP honors hands down. He was impressive and I cannot wait to watch him again this fall under Coach Overton and Saint James Academy.

[player_tooltip player_id='1816121' first='Kavon' last='Brown-Compton']

Compton was excellent particularly along the defensive line Saturday, he too was close to earning MVP honors. The big man moves very crisp for his size, I can see why he already has a couple offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1601612' first='Bennet' last='Wilke']

Wilke is just beginning to scratch the surface of his talents, many times he showed why you should be selling high on his potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='1601618' first='Damion' last='Parham']

Teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1601618' first='Damion' last='Parham'] brought it during the 1vs1s and is bound for a major senior season with St Anne's. He tested very well particulary in the shuttle and L Drill.

[player_tooltip player_id='1597583' first='Mason' last='Brooks']

Brooks was really good during the individual and 1v1 portion, he is stout in his pass blocking abilities.

Happy to see Roanoke Catholic product [player_tooltip player_id='1622298' first='Kent' last='McCord'] earn a top performer spot. You can see especially during the 1v1s why a lot of college coaches are high on him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1701118' first='Nasir' last='Delaney']

I thought Delaney was the real deal before last Saturday and he proved me right by earning a top performer spot. He also had one of the faster Shuttle times on site and his 40 at 5.13 is very impressive for his size.
