<!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Highlighting some of the top defensive performances in week 12 of the 2024 season.</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB [player_tooltip player_id='1145490' first='Boston' last='Tilton'], 2025, Higley – </strong>Tilton totaled his most tackles of the season in the 41-7 win over Williams Field with 12 including three TFL and one sack. He's got 83 tackles on the season. No offers yet but has the ability and size to play at the college level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB Carlos Montoya, 2025, Walden Grove – </strong>Montoya filled the stat sheet on both sides of the ball in the 37-21 win over Canyon Del Oro. At LB, he crossed the 100 total tackle mark with 13 in the game and continued to make plays behind the LOS adding 5.5 TFL, he now has 35 on the season. He has 79 total tackles on the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB [player_tooltip player_id='1145535' first='Tom' last='Regina'], 2025, Salpointe Catholic – </strong>Regina recorded 14 total tackles with nine solo and added a sack and interception in the 45-30 win over Brophy. He has 81 on the season. On defense, he was a lockdown DB holding top ranked 2026 WR [player_tooltip player_id='402797' first='Rico' last='Blassingame'] to 16 yards on four receptions adding an interception and three tackles. Offensively, he had his season high in rushing yards with 137 on 17 touches and two touchdowns. He committed to Drake over four other offers in July. He added two touchdowns rushing taking six carries for 11 yards.
