We've spotlighted several Zebras this season and for good reason. Although Rochester fell just short of capturing a sectional championship, they finished 7-3 in Ron Shaffer's third year as head coach. Running back [player_tooltip player_id='560088' first='Brant' last='Beck'] - who runs bigger than his 5-foot-7, 180-pound size would indicate - is a reason why. Beck can run through contact as well as anybody and finish forward on contact. He finished 25th overall in the state in rushing with 1,460 yards on the ground.

Mclaughlin, who is a junior, has a goal of eclipsing 6,000 rushing yards in his high school career. Barring injury, he appears well on his way, especially after this season: he led the state in rushing yards and is the school's all-time leading rusher. Mclaughlin can run off-tackle, but he is also great as an inside runner.

Hamilton was second in the state in rushing, logging 2,057 yards and a whopping 31 touchdowns on the ground. He has great top-end speed and take the ball to the house if he finds an open running lane.

Castro has great size and strength. At 6-foot-2, 205, he has the bulk and strength to run through contact and enough balance to stay on his feet and maximize every carry. With his size, he is very hard to bring down. On tape, his ability to lower his shoulder on contact, stiff arm, and run over defenders is Madden-like.

Bryant is a two-way prospect for Monrovia. The 5-foot-9, 175-pound outside linebacker doubles as a running back, where he finished with 1,502 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground. Although he's more of a north-and-south runner, he has good vision and patience to follow blocks, and knows when to turn on his extra gear.
