[player_tooltip player_id='1177560' first='Beau' last='Jandreau'] was flying all over the field for Hamilton's defense in a three-point win over Red Mountian. Not only did he finish the game with 16 total tackles, two of which were for a loss, but he affected the game outside of the stat sheet as well. His relentless pursuit of the ball carrier forced rushed throws or cutbacks into traffic that consistently helped his unit get off the field. Over the offseason, Jandreau received an offer from the University of Arizona, and Friday's performance showed exactly why. His mix of speed, physicality, and smart decision-making continues to set him apart as one of Arizona's most reliable defensive leaders.

[player_tooltip player_id='1145510' first='Owen' last='Pimbert'] is one of my favorite linebackers to watch play with his versatility. The different ways that he can affect a game constantly show themselves throughout each and every game. Finishing a close matchup against Centennial with 15 tackles, four for loss, another four quarterback pressures, a sack, and finishing it off with two passes defensed, Pimbert showed that he can make plays at all three levels. Such an advantage for Pinnacle's defense, he has a nose for the football that always has him around the play, even when he's not the one making it.

A real force in the heart of Pinnacle's defense, Dillon Aakre's clearly high football IQ allows him to be a natural leader when he's out there on the field. He's a tough player who seemed to be battling through some discomfort. Even with that, he still managed to post a stat line of 11 tackles, four for loss, a sack, and two hurries. A season-high in tackles for Aakre, he's a player who has all the tools to make a real impact playing at the next level.

With six sacks and 20 quarterback pressures on the year, [player_tooltip player_id='954375' first='Dean' last='Vincent'] has been a real disruptor coming off the edge for Pinnacle's defense. Doing a bit of everything in a comeback win against Centennial, he spent a lot of time in the backfield and finished the contest with a sack, three hurries, and three tackles for loss. With his speed and power off the edge, Vincent was a constant headache for Centennial's offensive line, forcing hurried throws and blowing up plays before they even had a chance to develop. His relentless energy and ability to break through protection schemes make him a crucial asset for Pinnacle's defense and a player that offenses have to plan around.

He possesses some impressive quickness at his size and puts his long arms to good use to keep them from getting engaged with him. he notched 11 tackles, including three for loss. Throughout the rest of the game, he seemed to be everywhere for Queen Creek's defense. A phenomenal tackler in open space, Liles finished the game with 10 tackles on the night. With 16 total tackles, he kept the running game in check nearly single-handedly. To make his presence felt in the passing game, he got his hands on a pass and also got another quarterback pressure. Easily getting into the backfield, Abril's physicality really disrupted the offense's timing all night. His quick feet allowed him to fill gaps and meet running backs in the hole, often driving them back for minimal gains. With his relentless motor and instinctive play, Abril has emerged as a dominating defender.

Playing as an outside backer for Hamilton's defense, [player_tooltip player_id='1573410' first='Jason' last='De La Torre'] is often asked to cover speedy slot receivers while still painting his run responsibilities around the edge. Thankfully for Hamilton, he can do just that because of how incredibly physical he plays the position. De La Torre's smaller frame allows him to stay quick enough to keep up with those slot receivers and his incredible instincts have him pull off and attack the ball whenever he sniffs out the run. Finishing Friday's game against Red Mountain with 15 tackles, that only tells part of the story of how much of an impact he had.
