This was one of my favorite players to watch this season because of how versatile [player_tooltip player_id='726199' first='Joshua' last='Ernst'] is by being able to play at both the CB & WR position at such a high level and having the aggressive ball skills that he possesses all around. At both positions, I was simply amazed by Ernst's movement ability, especially when having to adjust his body for the football. Ernst has very quick feet, fluid hips, and knows how to work his eyes back to the football, which makes him a great football player. Being able to trust his eyes and mirror a receiver would show up at a high rate on film when playing at the CB spot. Ernst did play a lot of off zone coverage but certainly has the talent to man up on a WR if need be. The lateral quickness in Ernst's game really allows him to cover a short amount of distance to make QBs second guess throws in his direction. Certainly, a complete CB that finished his senior season for Aquinas Institute.

For [player_tooltip player_id='1283671' first='Kaleb' last='Condello'], he ended his senior season at Rush-Henrietta putting up an impressive stat line of 50 total tackles, 10 TFLs, 2 fumble recoveries, and had 2 sacks at the DT position. What was evident on film was the quickness that Condello displayed coming off the snap of the ball. That quickness that then was transferred to power when rushing the passer or attacking the run allowed Condello to get into the backfield at a high rate. Many times, Condello used fluid rip, and swim moves on interior OG's that were not able to match the pure hand quickness at the POA. The ability to chase ball carriers down from behind with pure hustle showed up at a constant rate. This is a DT that I can see being flexible all over the defensive line, even being able to play at the DE spot if you need him to. On a few plays, Condello was able to display his pure power by driving his blocker right into the lap of the RB. This is an all gas and no breaks kind of football player on the defensive line.

Wrapping up his junior campaign at Pittsford Mendon by wrapping up a lot of tackles for his team was the job for [player_tooltip player_id='505865' first='Jaxon' last='Bernas'] at the LB spot. Bernas is a flying LB that was not afraid to be aggressive and trusted his eyes a lot when teams would run many moving parts at his defense. Many times, Bernas was able to fly right through the backfield and make critical TFLs on the QBs or RBs. What I loved to see was the communication factor that Bernas was able to bring to the table on film that I saw on multiple occasions. This is a LB that plays with a lot of speed, leverage, range, and a high running motor. After every tackle Bernas makes, his energy shows off to the defense. The closing quickness to come downhill to shoot the gap was the defining factor in Bernas' game and what allowed this Pittsford Mendon defense to make big stops.

It was like a flash of lighting every time the senior RB [player_tooltip player_id='391817' first='Cadearrell' last='Sneed Jr']. touched the ball for East Rochester. The ability to make defenders miss in space with a variety of moves and then take off with explosive acceleration screamed off the film. Sneed Jr. recorded 93 carries for 803 rushing yards. Additionally, Sneed Jr. had 14 receptions for 237 yards with a total of 12 TDs to end his impressive campaign. What was impressive to watch with Sneed Jr. is when he runs with the football, there is a very balanced attack to his game. Being able to make the correct read, have great contact balance, and being a quick threat coming out of the backfield in the receiving game is what made him a special RB to watch. Against Hilton, Sneed Jr. was able to take a quick flat route to the house for about 85 yards by outrunning the entire defense. That ball carrier vision really came into play because of the countless times Sneed Jr. was able to read the hole quickly, and then burst through for a huge gain. Sneed Jr. is not a bruising RB, and he is going to beat you with his quickness & elite speed. Defenses that let Sneed Jr. get into open space make huge mistakes that they wish they had back.

A big junior season was wrapped up by Zayden Williams who had a lot of playing time at both WR and DB for Gates Chili. When Williams was at the DB spot, he certainly was not afraid to attack after the football and the opposition. Williams displayed his versatility at being able to blitz off the edge and make explosive tackles to complete plays for his defense. At the WR position, Williams knows how to make those easy high percentage catches including slants, curls, and quick screens. When Williams number was called to make a block, #2 puts in a huge amount of effort which was shown against Webster-Thomas on a big-time TD that would not have happened without the block by Williams. It will be a interesting to see what Williams can do in his senior season, but he ended this campaign with a lot to show colleges.

Matthew Kosiorek is a QB for Hilton that just finished his sophomore season and did so in an impressive way. When operating at the QB position for Hilton, Kosiorek showed incredible touch, accuracy, and poise inside the pocket. Plenty of times, Kosiorek was able to hit his receiver in stride and looked calm operating while the play would develop. The ability to work inside the pocket and have such great footwork truly allowed Kosiorek to avoid pass rushers. While working the pocket, going through his full passing progressions and hitting tight window throws especially on the corner of the endzone would flash often on tape. One of the biggest strong suits for this Hilton offense was plays set up by play action and Kosiorek was able to capitalize off of those opportunities. This is a QB that stays patient and can make throws under pressure which intrigues me to see what Kosiorek can do moving forward.
