With snow prepared to roll into the Hudson Valley, Athletes from across the North East packed into Hudson Sports Complex to compete, and showcase their skills at the Prep Redzone NY Stock Up Showcase. This was our first edition of the Showcase, which had its own event, after pairing with NJ for multiple years. With 17 Lineman in attendance in Warwick, we take a look at some notes I wrote down for each Lineman during the showcase. For combine numbers, I will use the best attempt from each drill.

Bucknor was a beast in person. I had to check my notes to see if there was a typo, but he measured in at 6'0" 231-Pounds, showcasing an excellent build for a Defensive Lineman. Given his size at the moment he can play across the line, but I see him ending up as an Interior Defensive Lineman. Bucknor used an impressive blend of size, and strength during Pass Rush Reps, and was a clear Top Performer in Warwick. Bucknor also displayed an outstanding IQ, and the ability to find and attack the weak points on each rep. The Iona Prep 2029 Prospect, has a bright future ahead of him, and showcase some impressive skills in Warwick.

Measuring in at 6'2" 288-Pounds, Pierce was an impressive lineman on the defensive side. The 2028 Prospect displays a solid build, and being only a Sophomore has tons of room to grow into his frame. He currently projects as an Interior Lineman, and I agree with this. I caught a handful of Reps, and one thing that stood out consistently were his Rush Moves. His club caught the most attention, as he used this move with confidence, and when hitting the outside shoulder, used an exceptional IQ, to swing his body the interior, and win reps. Pierce is rising prospect, who has a good future ahead of him.

Healy was a prospect who consistently caught my eye in Warwick. He can play on either side of the line, but chose to run with the defense at the showcase. Healy measured in at 6'1" 281-Pounds, showcasing a solid build for a Defensive Lineman, The 2027 Graduate projects mainly on the interior, and had an outstanding day in Warwick. His stance was the one thing I was iffy about as on the defensive side it felt more like an offensive stance, but his power rush moves, and his IQ was displayed as he was able to cross face Lineman. He was elite in Warwick, and I see a big season coming for the Rising Senior.

Ending off the lineman notes, is [player_tooltip player_id='2076380' first='Anthony' last='Tsiolis'], The 2029 prospect, measured in at 6'2" 235-Pounds, displaying an outstanding build for a Lineman, and a young a recruit. He is a true interior prospect, who absorbs contact at the line. He is a player who will be feared in the A-Gap, and it was displayed throughout the showcase. He won multiple reps, and utilized a tool bag of moves, to make his way to the backfield. Against older Lineman, he seemed to find an easy way to shed blocks. Tsiolis is a player I wish I watched more reps of, but on pass rush reps his IQ was evident, and as only a Freshman, he has a bright future, and can easily become one of the top players on the defensive side of the ball in 2029.
