OL Report: 2029 Catholic League Lineman To Watch

The 2029 Rankings are upon us, and with the next wave of prospects starting to shine across the state, we start our first look at the next Pass Catchers, from across New York. While it is too early to evaluate a majority of prospects, we will take a Quick Look, and list some Pro's, and some areas the prospects should look to work on as they progress through the High School Level. In this article, we will look at three 2029 Offensive Lineman from across the state of New York, who can you should watch. The 6'0" 280-Pound Prospect, projects as a Guard in my book, and displays a developing frame, he can grow into as he progresses through High School.   Burch can play on both sides of the ball, but I like him mainly on offense for the Gaels. In the run game he is a force to be reckoned with, using strength, and physicality to move opposing defenders out of the way and create gaps across the line. I like his use of strength and hand placement while pushing defenders, as it set him above most lineman.   Burch should look to continue to improve with his technique, footwork, balance, and control as he progresses through High School, but I have no doubt the Iona Prep Lineman has a bright future ahead. of him.     Kashetta is my second ranked 2029 Offensive Lineman, and the St. Anthony's Prospect, stands at 6'3" 250-Pounds displaying a developing size for a lineman. I want to see him reach the 280-Pound mark at least but I see him mainly as a Tackle.   His strength and hand placement were evident on film, as he used a combination of both to push back opposing Rushers. He had solid technique, and understood reaching the next level on run reps.   I want to see him improve with his footwork, along with balance, as this combination should see him improve drastically as he progresses through High School.      Lastly is [player_tooltip player_id='2103143' first='Jacob' last='Lindberg']. Lindberg was one of the top Tackles in the Catholic League this season, and helped the Gaels win the Freshman Championship. Standing at 6'1" 255-Pounds, he also showcases a developing size for a lineman.   I like him mainly as a Tackle, and I see him projecting as a cornerstone on the left side of the line. Lindberg, has excellent physicality nd attacks the LOS. I like his hand placement, as he is not overly aggressive, and displays patience while pass blocking. He is excellent as a Pull player, and is a dude I would be scared to see in front of me.   Lindberg should look to improve with his technique, along with balance and footwork. He is a solid lineman, and improving these traits, can see him dominate at the Tackle Position.
