JENKS 42, UNION 7
- Jenks left no doubt in their playoff rematch with arch rival Union. After scoring only three points in their regular season meeting, Jenks absolutely dominated the Redhawks, winning 42-7 on Friday night. With the win, Jenks has now ended Union's season in the playoffs two straight years after beating the Redhawks in the semifinals last season. Running back [player_tooltip player_id='402378' first='KD' last='Jones'] had the game-winning touchdown in the final minute of that semifinal meeting a year ago. This year, the junior would just dominate from the start, running for over 200 yards and four touchdowns in the win. Jenks now gets another shot at top-ranked Owasso.

MUSKOGEE 14, PUTNAM CITY 0
- Survive and advance is the name of the game and while it wasn't pretty from start to finish, a win is a win for the defending champions and Muskogee is moving on. The Roughers beat Putnam City 14-0 and the headline to come out of this one is the dominant play from the Muskogee defense. The Pirates wanted to limit what Muskogee could do on offense so they took the air out of the ball but the Muskogee defense responded, keeping Putnam City out of the end zone. Now, the Roughers move on to the semifinals and it's a headliner. Muskogee faces Stillwater in a rematch of last year's state title game.

GUTHRIE 29, BOOKER T WASHINGTON 20
- The marquee quarterfinal game in Class 5A lived up to the hype as Guthrie made a rare trip to Tulsa and knocked off Booker T Washington 29-20. The Blue Jays now move on to the semifinals and it was a gutsy performance from Guthrie from start to finish. Guthrie's defense came up with a big stop on fourth down and a few plays later, Elijah Smith would get loose for a 50+ yard touchdown run about halfway through the fourth quarter. That put the Blue Jays up by two possessions and that was all the cushion they would need. Guthrie now shifts their focus to a semifinal date with Newcastle.

BETHANY 30, ADA 6
- All four quarterfinal games in Class 4A were decided by 20-plus points on Friday night. Bethany would beat Ada 30-6 and they absolutely dominated the second half. The Bronchos would score ten points in the final three minutes of the second quarter and took that momentum into halftime and it continued in the second half. One week after scoring 53 points in the first round, Ada's offense was locked up and only managed a second quarter touchdown before Bethany ran away with the game in the second half. Bethany now shifts their focus to a semifinal showdown with district rival Tuttle.

CHECOTAH 35, BRISTOW 32
- Just in case it wasn't obvious at this point, [player_tooltip player_id='353415' first='Elijah' last='Thomas'] is one of the best players in Oklahoma and he might be at the top of that list. With his team trailing 32-28 with the season on the line, Thomas took a screen pass 75 yards to the house for his fourth touchdown on the night and to put Checotah in the semifinals in one of the more memorable games in program history. Thomas finished with well over 200 yards receiving and one week after going on the road to beat Cascia Hall, they did it again in Bristow. The Wildcats are now one win away from playing for the state title but Sulphur awaits in the semifinals.

MARLOW 27, KINGSTON 21
- Marlow finds a way to win close games when it matters most and the Outlaws beat Kingston 27-21 on the road in the final minute to advance to the semifinals. Marlow would break the 21-21 tie in the final minute of the game with the go-ahead touchdown and that sets up a semifinal showdown with Millwood. We wrote about Marlow earlier this week and how the Outlaws were state champions the last time they were in Class 2A. Last season, they nearly stunned Heritage Hall in the semifinals and made another championship game. Now, they look to pull another upset in the semifinal with a win over Millwood.

METRO CHRISTIAN 27, JONES 21
- It was without a doubt the game of the week in Class 2A-1 this week as Metro Christian hosted Jones and junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1292050' first='Kincayde' last='Eng'] and the Metro Christian defense that forced turnover after turnover. The Patriots remained unbeaten with a 27-21 win over Jones on Friday night. Eng would throw for over 200 yards and he added over 100 yards on the ground. The defense would finish the night with an eye-opening six interceptions. The game was tied at 14 going into the fourth quarter but the Patriots would score 14 unanswered in the final frame. Now, they get ready for defending champion Washington.

DAVIS 27, ADAIR 24
- It was a throwback to about a decade ago when Adair and Davis were two of the best teams in Class 2A and they would consistently meet in the quarterfinals. This year, Davis would come out on top, handing Adair a 27-24 defeat that would end Adair's season at 11-1. The Wolves trailed 16-7 but this is a team that has consistently come out hot in the second half and Friday night was no different. The Wolves would climb back in the game and [player_tooltip player_id='1573245' first='Brenden' last='Rawls'] would score from a few yards out in the final minute and that would end up being the game-winner. Davis will face another unbeaten team in Stroud in the semifinals.

CHRISTIAN HERITAGE 38, PAWHUSKA 36
- [player_tooltip player_id='1337328' first='Caleb' last='Gideon'] scored five touchdowns as Christian Heritage held on to beat Pawhuska 38-36 and advance to the semifinals in two weeks. The Crusaders would nearly go down by three possessions but they would get a turnover, followed by Gideon's first touchdown and a game that could have turned into a blowout became a back and forth contest for all four quarters. The Huskies would score to make it 38-36 with less than two minutes to play but the two-point conversion was no good and the Crusaders would escape. Now, they get ready for a semifinal with Rejoice Christian, a team they lost to back in September.

REJOICE CHRISTIAN 34, FAIRVIEW 7
- This wasn't exactly an upset as Rejoice Christian came into this game as the higher ranked team and expected to win. But it's still noteworthy nonetheless when a defending state champion is knocked out of the playoffs. For Fairview, they come up short of making it to a third consecutive state title game where they would have tried to defend their crown after going back to back from 2022 and 2023. But Rejoice Christian is definitely firing on a different level and look like a team that is more than capable of making a run to the state championship game. They will square off with Christian Heritage, who they beat 52-21 in September.

REGENT PREP 57, RINGLING 54
- It was the game of the week in Oklahoma as Regent Prep went on the road and took down traditional powerhouse Ringling 57-54. The Rams were in control for almost the entire game until Ringling scored with just under three minutes to play to go up 54-50. Regent Prep wasn't done. Senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='595670' first='John' last='Mark Roller'] would throw a strike with less than a minute to play for the game-winning touchdown. That was his fifth passing touchdown on the night to go along with three rushing touchdowns and well over 500 yards of total offense. Regent Prep, playing in their first season as an 11-man team has made the semifinals.
