Kings Mountain at JM Robinson – Defensive Standouts

Myles was also very impactful in running down plays that the interior defensive line forced to spill outside and making tackles in open space. Landen was a physical presence on the defensive line for the Bulldogs, which never allowed the Mountaineers offense to find any consistent footing in moving the football. The Mountaineers threw the ball a lot given the fat they were down a lot so early in the football game, and Bryce did a great job at safety in making sure that the Bulldogs' defense did not give up any big plays over the top. A senior defensive back, Ricky has been a key piece of the Bulldogs' secondary all year long. In the regular season, Antonio totaled 108 tackles, 3 sacks, 3 defensive touchdowns, and played as a blocking tight end on offense also. Eli had a couple of tackles for loss, a fumble recovery, and he scored off of a shovel pass play in the 4th quarter which cut the deficit for the Mountaineers to 27-14 early in the 4th quarter.
